After pregnancy, I got even bigger belly because of the effect of pregnancy. Do you have any natural way on how to reduce it?

I don't have an answer for you as I'm in the same boat. After two kids, I didn't have a problem with shedding the pregnancy weight, not that I'd put on much extra weight to start with, but I do have a jelly belly. Quite often, I have a bloated belly as well, and my husband will tease me and ask if I'm 6 months pregnant! When I see other mummies, I always find myself checking out their tummy to see if they've got the same problem. It's always depressing to find mummies with flat stomachs! I think most of them do work at it. I've heard pilates helps.

i have just delivered my baby 2 months ago.my belly return to its non pregnant size. after my delivery I'm in a diet i only eat oatmeal and wheat bread instead of rice and viand.I also use hot compress in my belly just 10 - 15 minutes twice a day for two weeks after delivery. I also doing belly massage twice a day that will last 10-15 minutes too.I also have an exercise each morning started 2 weeks after giving birth only a simple exercise walking, jogging walking up and down the stairs.I do this for 30 minutes each day!I lost 15 pounds in all. my baby is only 4 pounds.

The comment I have posted under bontheka is really for you I just mistakenly posted it. As what i had mention there I only ate oatmeal and wheat bread instead of rice and viand. I also did belly massage 10-15 minutes twice a day.I also did simple exercise like walking, jogging up and down the stairs for 30 minutes and I started doing this 2 weeks after giving birth. I also use hot compress on my belly twice a day in the morning and before going to bed that will last for only 10-15 minutes.I lost 15 pounds in all. I have only a small baby weighing 4.13 pounds, because during my pregnancy I only ate fruits and vegetables. I have also big tummy or belly after giving birth but now it return to its non pregnant size.

Hi... my baby is 7 months old now. But i still have big belly like when i was 3 months pregnant, I was so big when I was pregnant... I gained 65 pounds more. I never weighed 100 pounds more before but now I'm still 125, so I have to lose 25... will the hot compress still work? I've been on a diet and working out too but it's frustrating sometimes, I guess I don't have patience or it's coz I'm not used to working out before. Anyways, my baby was 8.5 pounds, so he's really big, maybe that is why it took long for me... well, i dunno hehe... Do u have a tip for me? thanks!

I have this same issue. It's been over four
years since I delivered my baby and still I have
the fat on my belly. It's not so much as when I
first gave birth. But, I don't have my tight belly
anymore.
Conventional methods you used before the baby may
not work now due to changes in hormones. Simply
going on a diet won't get rid of the belly fat.
That is what I have found. You may need to walk for
daily exercise or swim daily for at least half an hour
or more. The stomach muscles are weak after pregnancy
and stretched out and must be toned and tightened again.
I hope that helps you. I am going through this same
situation and it helps to talk with others about it!
Be well. Best of luck.

One name - DENISE AUSTIN. She has several workouts, including Pilates, and several books that tackle the issue of the tummy. Go to your local library to see if they have her items. Amazon.com is another great resource too. She's fantastic!
