What is your favorite zoo animal?

My favorite animal ia the panda.Then I like the wolf.Panda's look so nice and innocent.NOT!They are strong and will be mean to a human.My sister had a wolf hybrib.That was the nicest dog.It was so protective of my niece,the house,the yard.But,he kept jumping the really high fence.They gave him to a friend that lives on a farm on a mountain.Which animal at the zoo is your favorite?

Orangutans!! They are too, too funny!!
I also like Otters. Some zoo animals live on my property, like deer, turkeys, foxes, snakes, gophers, and the like.
I also like the petting zoos for the kids. I love baby animals.

I'm with you, nanajanet. I like the orangutans and the otters. But I also like the bears.
(I have to say, though, that I have never seen turkeys in a zoo. I've seen them on farms, and I've seen them in the wild, but I've never seen them in a zoo.)

Hi Dfollin, I would like to see the pandas in action. They are big but so adorable and playful
I certainly would like one as a pet and hug them as often
A koala would be a favorite of mine too, such a sleepy animal..lol.

I saw my cousin about 3 weeks ago and him and his wife volunteered for a month in China at the panda resereve.They had so much fun.He said that there you can get your picture taken with a panda for $45.he said he did not do it because he felt it was too much money.I don't think so.I would of done it in a heartbeat!

I also like the girrafes.When I was a kid,before we had a panda at the zoo,my favorite was the giraffe.I like birds as well.My daughter likes the elephant best of all.

Lions and tigers and bears oh my!
How do you choose one? They are all so lovely. However, if I had to pick one, it would be a lion. When I was growing up, we had a man in our neighborhood who had a pet lion. Of course he kept him in the appropriate cage, but his had a small area to slide your hand in to pet the lion.
Such power and grace inside such a huge animal, it is an amazing thing to have them nuzzle your hand or rub their head against it like a domestic pet cat would do. You can feel the danger, the excitement and power that they have, but also see the resemblance to a sweet cat all at the same time.
It was a wonderful experience, and most of the children in our neighborhood were very upset when the lion had to move to a real zoo. Unfortunately, the adults in our town were not so forgiving of the fact that a dangerous animal lived so close to their homes. Understandable now, but what a heartbreak then...

It was fear. If he had gotten out, they were afraid of the harm that might come to one of the children in the area. A valid fear, but a great memory.

My favorite zoo animal is the gorilla. We went to the Louisville Zoo for the very first time last year and we loved it. they had a variaety of animals there to see. It was very hot outside and when we got to the gorillas, they were in a nice air conditioned area. We spent about two hours in there watching them. They had access to the otudoors but we loved to watch the ones that sat and stayed indoors.

hi df my favorite zoo animal is the cheetah as they are
fleet of foot, and the fastest cat, and also they are
beautiful to look at. my other favorite is the tiger,youknow
the poem tiger tiger burning bright, in the forests of'the
night: anyway that poem has always made me have respect'for the beauty of the tiger. I also like wolves.

Well any zoo animal's ancestors were wild first, so my most favorite wild animal is the Tiger :D

I'm a cat lover and to me the most beautiful cat on earth is the Tiger. I can sit and watch the tigers for hours on end! And pretty much any other cat too!

i dont think i have a favorite...they are all pretty...but maybe the wild cats...and wild dogs. but the exotic ones are cool too...i dont know...i cant make up my mind...they r all cute....
