Have you ever tried Monster Cookies? They have peanutbutter, oatmeal, chocolate chips, m&ms and nuts, You get the peanut butter cookie taste with all the other good stuff added in. I found the recipe online and since it sounded good i made them. As it turns out, not only did I think they were good, but my son and his friends did too. They would come by and put 5 or 6 in a baggy and take them with them....lol The recipe makes alot and it was a good thing. Now when the guys come around they want to know when Im making more cookies...lol The recipe that I use is on allrecipes.com, just type in monster cookies in their search box. Hope you try, and like them as much as we do ! :-)

Thank you for the BR ! I just made a batch of the them last week and I took a bag (50 cookies) on our family reunion fishing trip and came back with an empty bag....lol. Everyone loved them and a few of the out-of-town relatives got the recipe for them. I hope you enjoy them ! ! ! :-)

Here is the recipe that I use when making mine.
INGREDIENTS
* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 cup creamy peanut butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
1. Cream the butter, butter flavored shortening, and sugars. Add eggs and blend. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and stir until well blended.
2. Measure out tablespoonfuls of dough and roll into balls. Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets. Make criss-cross pattern with fork.
3. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) 8-10 minutes until set, but not hard. Do not overbake. Leave on sheets for 2 minutes before removing. Cool, and store in covered container.
