A long busy Sunday

our sunday is quite busy too..we washed our clothes and have cleaned the entire house..it was tiring but it's fun 'coz while washing clothes we bond together..share stories that had happened during the weekdays and afterwards we ate dinner together and celebrated the father's day..^_^

we went out to the roomie's folks so her dad could have a dad's day since it was 101º today, no, we did nothing but drive in the outside

I really can't spend that much time outdoors in the sun--my MS doesn't allow me to be in the humidity like it used too (although I need the vitamin D--what a contradictory disease!). I did bring in my luggage for my job and sorted through that indoors, spent a LOT of time on myLot yesterday, and brought the laundry upstairs from the basement. I also made a list of things to tackle today; I've started them (all indoors), but now it's sit around and wait. Glad to hear you and your wife got so much accomplished yesterday!

It was a good day for me. I did some writing work, not as much as I would have liked because I really needed to clean my house. Got the first floor done and mowed the yard, trimmed the snowball bush outside the back door--there were some little tendrils getting stuck in the screen door and I couldn't help but cringe, thinking of its discomfort that would be greater than giving it a "haircut". The yard was done in stages due to my scoliosis but I had a good time in between and played with the dogs and started a documentary on Chet Atkins, a truly amazing guitarist and producer. It's been a great day. I'm just sorry I didn't go to church and that my dad was out of town on Father's Day but it was to visit a dear friend celebrating a 90th birthday! I'm so glad he's having a good time!

You had some nice weather then you lucky thing, it did not rain here but it was cloudy and cold. I saw on the news this morning that Iowa has had some bad flooding I was really sad for them. My sunday was a pretty good day, we (being me, hubby and 4 kids) went over to my Mum and Dads house and we had our tea with them. It was supposed to be a barbeque but the weather was too cold so we had it cooked in the oven instead and ate inside. But it was a great day and I got a birthday cake as it was my birthday the other day.

My Sunday was spent at work....well Sunday night was. During the day I was resting up from working Saturday night So I could go back to work Sunday night.

I had a houseful of grandsons, so I was a busy gramma with them. I am tired too, and I don't know why, hehe. It sounds like you got alot done this weekend, good for you.

Hi grandpa, It was a nice Sunday for us also though we got some rain in the afternoon, We were able to mow the lawn in the morning and I was able to do Mylotting and watch movie with my Husband...Nice and great Sunday indeed!

I worked out in the yard/garden right after work yesterday morning and came in round 10:30 am. Sat here at the puter till my niece called needing a tow then went to bed round 11:30pm. It rained here on and off all day as well.

Hello dear Grandpa Bob. You must have felt very tired by now, I think, because of the long busy Sunday. Today it is Monday here in my part and we are still working as usual. I am glad that I am not so busy as I used to now and I am enjoying more of myself. Have a good rest, Grandpa and Grandma Bob.

Sounds like you did have a busy day! I started my morning by going to church. I then went to Walmart to buy a shepherds hook for the hummingbird feeder that I bought to put by my dad's gravesite for Father's Day. I then stopped in to visit with my daughter for a little while, before I went to visit with my mom. She made the hummingbird feed and then we walked the shepherds hook and hummingbird feeder to the grave site. After that I was able to take some pictures and actually captured some hummingbirds. I'm going to try to add one of the better pics to this discussion and hopefully it turns out okay, we will see!

I spent a good part of the day out in the yard playing with the kids and helping my brother work on my car. It was in the low 90's and very sunny. After that we had some ribs and some brats for dinner. We just got done watching National Treasure 2 a few minutes ago.

Happy Father's Day first! :) I wish I could say I had a busy day but I didn't. I worked and it was very slow. I'm a bartender so I work on tips and a small hourly wage, I worked all night for about 15.00 in tips. Ughhhh! It was long and boring.

Hey, Sounds like you had a busy one , but very rewarding! All my yard work was done little by little over the week. It was a pain trimming all the front bushes, but it looks much better now. Anyway, Sunday was an easy day. I had my dad over with the whole family . We had a cookout and then watched a movie . Much later in the day my brother and me went for a swim . By the way I have a lawn chair like that too

We had a short Sunday yesterday. It was Father's Day but it was so humid outside and the dang bugs were biting. We worked in our little garden for a little bit also and picked some leaf lettuce and some green onions to have with our spaghetti. We watched a movie and went to bed. We work nights, seven days per week so we didn't have much energy for alot of things.

my sunday was fine..hubby and i went to the mall..we played bingo and walked around the mall..had some groceries and went to the arcade to play and watch me sing..

We celebrated father's day at my sisiter's with a cookout with my dad and botherinlaws dad. She lives 4 and a half housrs from here so I had to drive back, and get ready for a new week, sot it was pretty busy. pretty good day though.

I'm glad you guys took a break to enjoy a little relaxation, you deserved it after all that work.

Well, i finished "price of persia:sands of time" this sunday. I know,I know,you will think I wasted my sunday. But I bet I felt happier than what you did while trimming grass. :-). I was trying for it for 3 months. Now I also have time for lawn. But but...I will need to grow some lawn first. :P

that's sunday is quite interesting for me i enjoy very much in the evening we go to see picture with our relative who has come to our home on sunday .After the movie ended then we go to dominos there we eat pizza with extra capcium then at night we go for walk after dinner.nothing got wrong with me this sunday
