This is a poem that I wrote recently, if you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know, I'm very open to criticism and thoroughly enjoy and welcome it :)
Bury Me Somewhere
Bury me somewhere
Where the hands are gentle
And my mind is allowed to break.
Where the Sun doesn't hurt my eyes
And I can stare for hours.
Bury me somewhere
Where the fields are green
And the grass never dies,
Where the stars LIVE, dancing,
And they mark the night.
Bury me somewhere
Where a tree stands over me
And keeps me in shade.
Where the birds tell me stories with chirps
And songs I'll never grow tired of.
Bury me somewhere
Where you are near
And my heart can feel your smiles,
Where my soul can wait.

I loved it. It reminded me of something I wrote a long time ago. It has a wonderful rhythm to it and really speaks all by itself. I like how it leaves things open to interpretation for the reader. I value that as both an author and a consumer of poetry.
