If a man calls me a S.L.U.T. I thinks it's just because he's mad that he can't have this. If a woman calls me a S.L.U.T. I think it's just because she wishes she could be me...lol.

As with most things, context is crucial. Sl*t is not a nice word normally, in fact it can be very rude and derogatory. However, sometimes it can be used ironically or even with affection when used by a friend, a lover, etc.
The most important thing is the intention that the person who calls you sl*t has in mind when he or she says that word. That can make it really offensive or even funny...and in certain context, even very arousing sexually.
I don't condemn the use of this word per se because as i said it can have many different meanings, but I strongly recommend to be very careful who we use this with.

You have a very open mind about these things. I admire that. It is depending on the way it is said or what the person purpose in saying it. Thanks for responding(^^,)

S-L-U-T is a negative term in my opinion and i will never want to hear someone saying that word to me. it means a w-h-o-r-e, a b-i-t-c-h and it's really not so good to hear. i never say that word to anyone since i use to mind my own business and i don't really call people with names.

Nice perception. It can really hurt people when you call them that and who are we to judge or call people names right? Thanks for the response(^^,)

It's a very derogatory term, in my opinion, and I would never find it acceptable to be called that even in joking around. I've been called that a time or two in my life and, no, I didn't get hurt, I got angry.

It made you angry? Well, it is kind of a hurting word for some people, especially if it's meant to hurt you. Thanks (^^,)

To me, that word is just used by people that are jealous or holier than thou. There is nothing wrong with expressing yourself sexually and exploring different things. People are so closed minded sometimes.

Yes they are, especially the people still living and believing about traditional stuff. Jealousy? It could be a reason. Thanks for sharing your point of view(^^,)

Hi Vermillion, there was a time when I used to really hate that word. These days I believe that it says more about the people that use it than the ones they are talking about. People usually only use that word when they are jeolous! So, I just take it as a compliment any more!
Hugs, Tianna
