I just had my first baby in May. I had a pretty rough pregnancy. I was sick for the first 5 months. I have a pheoba of throwing up so I would swallow it and then pass out. :) I had high blood pressure before I got pregnant and it got higher when I was pregnant. Then I found out when I had the glucose test done I found out that I was borderline gestional diabetes. I just had to watch what I ate, which we all know is really hard when your pregnant. My doctor tried putting me on this low dose med but it made me feel really tired so she took me off of it and just told me to watch what I ate. Then at my 8th month I had a sonogram done and it showed that I had low fluid around the baby. So for the next few weeks I had a sonogram done once alot of the time twice a week at the hospital. Then my fluid went down to 1.66 which the normal is 26 so they kept me at the hospital to induced me. The first day the meds to induce me didn't help my cervix thin out so they tried again the next day. The second day it worked! I went to have an epideral and when I sat up my water broke and there was alittle of fluid. So they think it was behind the baby. They wanted to be safe than sorry. Then I had him that night at 9:24pm. I am so happy that was over! In about 2 more years I'm going to try for #2. I am hoping for a girl this time but I will be happy on whatever I get...as long as it is a healthy baby! The labor part doesn't bother me that much the morning sickness is what I'm scared about. So how what your pregnancies??

i have 5 kids and thank god, for all of them my pregnancies were bearable. but i also experienced the morning sickness and sometimes evening sickness for my first and fifth child. i also throw up most of the times and during the first trimester, i lose my weight coz i really can't eat. by the way, what age are you right now, cause sometimes age also plays a great factor in pregnancy, cause our body also adjust to the needs of the baby. that's right don't be bother about the labor cause it's just temporary, the pain will not be forever, you'll never know on your next baby, you will not experience the same thing. just be positive, always think of the beautiful things and don't pressure yourself. having a baby is a gift form god and a blessing to every woman, all the pains and all the sufferings you will experience is all worth it when you will be able to give birth to your child. goodluck on your 2nd baby and you can do it!!! god will take care of you!!!

wow thats rough. my first pregnancy was a breeze. by the time i realized i was pregnant i was through the morning sickness phase. i got sick in the evenings but i only threw up twice. the labor went pretty easy too. my second pregnancy went good, the last month was rough because she was sitting so low my hips hurt. labor went good, but they hit my spinal cavity with the epidural so i ended up with a spinal headache for 2 weeks. other than that the labor was fine. with my 3rd i felt sick the longest but i never threw up. my blood pressure started to go up the last week of my pregnancy so they induced me. it worked when they induced me, i had my son a few hours later. good luck with your next pregnancy, i hope it goes better for you!

With my first pregnancy I came down with a horrible cold around my 4th month that lasted a good month and a half. The doctor became very concerned that I had stopped gaining weight during one of my appointments. She said she would measure my belly to see if the baby was growing at the normal rate, and if not then she would schedule an ultrasound to see what was going on. Well, the measurement was normal, but the doctor scheduled the ultrasound anyway. Everything at the ultrasound checked out fine. By my 9th month I still hadn't gained anymore weight, but the my son was born at a healthy 6 lbs. 8 oz.
My second pregnancy went smoothly.

i had 3 babies in five years, consecutive. it was not difficult cause i was young; my age when i had them were: 24, 25 and 28.
the difficult part was when i had to deliver all through C-sections. thus, i had 3 operations in five years.

Ive been trying to respond to this one for about 2 days now... im finally getting to it :)
Yea, I know you did have it pretty rough, It's horrible when your first pregnancy is so hard because during that time it makes you wonder if you want to try it again. BUT the good part is after the little one finally arrives and you look into its eyes and then watch it grow up you do want another one. ALl 3 of my pregnancies were pretty decent. My first pregnancy i went to the ER thinking i had pneumonia and they asked if there was a chance i could be pregnant before they did the xray so i said i wasnt sure so they did a test just incase.. i guess its normal procedure... come to find out i had broncitis and was pregnant... awesome huh? well i cant complain because the pregnancy went pretty well. the actual labor and delivery part was the scary part. I went into labor and went to the hosptial.. come to find out after hours of being in labor they tell me "the cord is around the baby's neck we need to do an emergency csection" well of course a new mother... u automatically panic but it all went great. Hopefully your next pregnancy isnt that tough.
Keep smiling Your little boy is healthy and so adorable!

My first pregnancy was the hardest. I developed pregnancy induced hypertension which lead to bed rest from about nine weeks until the end. I have so many tests I don't even remember what all I had done. I was in the hospital most of the final 28 weeks. I guess saying final 28 weeks sounds funny because that is more than half of the pregnancy. Toward the end the doctors had to induce my labor and it took over three days to do this. They induced because I started to have renal failure.
The second pregnancy I had hemorrhaging for about four or five weeks and was diagnosed with a "threaten abortion" or a miscarriage if you will. I was suppose to be on bed rest. After a few months I was allowed to get off of bed rest and then quickly after I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and it was controlled by diet and exercise. My labor was induced and the baby was taken early because with gestational diabetes the babies tend to be larger and my first was so big.
The final pregnancy went well until the end. About two weeks before my due date I started having what I thought was labor pains but I didn't know because I hadn't gone into labor without being told I was in labor. I called the doctor to ask about it and they said it was not labor and not to worry about it. So the day before my due date I went for my check up and the doctor did an exam and while doing it he said oh did you bring a bag (LOL) I said a bag for what he was like you need to go to the hospital and I of course asked why and he said that I was dilated to 5 and was in active labor LOL I didn't know but yet again I had to be induced because I kept dilating but never had contractions.
So that was the final pregnancy and I didn't think it would be good to have another one with the different issue that I had with the other three LOL.
