I did. I think I've been gone from here for about a week, maybe more. It wasn't just mylot, I stayed away from the computer in general. I guess I kind of had a reason...I was tired of just getting settled into doing something on here only to get interrupted 2 minutes later. SO I just didn't bother sitting here at all.
It's been an interesting week or so here, but not crazy busy. I'll try to get a little caught up with all of you here and let you know about the happenings here at home.
So what reasons (or lack of reasons) have you had for staying away from the computer and your normal routine?

The only reason when that happen to me is when I need to relax and take some nap because of mt eyes or a visit of a friend and ask company for malling or visiting anywhere!

I haven't been able to be on here for various different reasons since the beginning of the month. This week I am on vacation from work and I at this point and time would much prefer to be at work. It hasn't been a good week for me at all. I'm getting ready to post a discussion about it here in a little bit, so you can read why I much prefer to be at work.

My internet was cut off, so I didn't Mylot for about 3 weeks.. My Internet service provider was trying to charge me way too much and we had almost a knock down drag out of a fight.. We were being overcharged every month and our bill was outrageous, we couldn't keep up with the payments and couldn't even understand the bill.. We also couldn't get anyone on the phone to get it straightened out.. We also got another bill charging us for a full month after it had been cut off for 3 weeks.. After we received the extra bill stating that we owed over 700.00, my husband went really crazy on them and finally got someone on the phone to get it straightened out.. Well, the final outcome was that they wiped our entire bill clean, (they said it was over 700.00 but it was really for about 6 weeks, so it was about 150.00) They said that since we had been such good customers for so many years that we had credits with them, I am not sure what they mean by that, but they wiped off the past 6 weeks bill and now we owe no balance.. I am not sure what all my husband said to them but they had our internet on in about 5 minutes and we saved 150.00, but that was for 3 weeks of fighting with them over the overcharges.. It finally took one person less than 5 minutes to find the mistakes and take care of them.. I do know that I did have withdrawal symptoms for the 3 weeks without the net, but there was a principle involved and we did have to fight for our rights.. It was probably the first battle that we had ever won, but it was worth it.. I am back to my normal routine now and I feel so much better.. Have a great evening, Donna

I will take a break for a few hours for I feel I need to give my eyes and brain a break from stareing at the computer screen to long. I will go do other things wheather clean or watch a movie then come back here to do some more. I'm never away from my computer for long periods of time.

Well, the only reason I have to get away from the computer is that I have nothing of my own. There is a computer in the office where I work but it is not mine. I just have to use it when I;m at work. Wehn I post here in mylot I have to go to the net cafe. I can not stay longer as I want because I have no internet of my own in the house. That i my reason why I sometimes get away from being in the computer all day.

Before , my routine is surfing the internet to look for part-time jobs and partime earning opportunity. I also try for everyday to walk-in to find part-time jobs, but i get tired and somehow lost chances so i took a break. Now I am doing this again. Even here at MYLOT, i remember i took a break for five months because I am looking for part-time jobs, and now I am back.

I have taken a break from the outside world before. No computer, no phone calls and just stay around the house. I have anxiety attacks and have stopped taking the meds because they made me loopy, so when everything gets to be too much I call a timeout. It really helps to just simplify my life sometimes.
