Wasn't for sure where to start this discussion, but life seem to fit!
My vacation from work was supposed to start on Monday, which before I left work on Friday that I needed to go in to work for a mandatory meeting, so no big deal.
I was awoken about 5 a.m. on Monday by the sound of something crashing loudly. I got up and looked around the house and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. My 19 year old daughter comes in about 6:45a.m. and asked "what happened?" I said, "why what!?" She said, someone has broken out my window."
This mind you isn't any small window it is a big picture window. Something on my agenda that I put on my list to get fixed this week.
Yesterday was a good day, I did get to spend time with my grand daughter and that's always good to be able to bond with her.
This morning I got up and I was supposed to have my annual physical today at 2:30 but they called and said they had to reschedule the appointment and it wouldn't be until July. So I called some place else, the place that I wanted to go in the first place and they scheduled me for tomorrow morning.
Now this is where it starts going from bad to worse today. I went to the store and was going to pay with something with the $20 bill that I had in my purse and it wasn't there. So I had a $5 bill to pay for what I needed. Then I went to another store and was going to use my debit card. It was gone too! I thought at first that I might have left them in my pants pocket from Sunday since that was the last time I used it to get gas. But I thought for sure I did see it in my wallet last night before I went to bed. So I looked it up on line, and someone had used it already twice. Not sure what the dollar amount is on either since it only shows $1 until it actually post to my checking account. I first called the bank and had my debit card shut off. So hopefully that is all the charges there will be that shows up. It showed what gas stations it was used at so I went to both of them to tell them that it was used between 3-3:30 am this morning. (The bank verified that for me)And then I went to make a police report since the one gas station was close to the police station. So now tomorrow I have to pick up a copy of the police report which cost $3 and take it to my bank, so they can apply fradulent charges to those charges which they won't be able to do until it shows what amount the charges were.
If I could afford to replace a glass plate window and everything else that has occurred, and by the way I forgot to mention today was street cleaning day and I had a ticket for $20 on my car this morning! I would have taken a real vacation and gone somewhere.
Just venting! But have you ever had a week like this? Please share your stories here. Tell me I'm not alone though I hope others haven't endured as much as I have this week.

My friend I am so sorry this happened to you. Do you have any idea who may have taken your ATM card and 20 dollars? It does not sound like the same person who broke your daughters window, what was that all about?
It sounds like you need to go back to work so things can calm down and you can get some rest.
I hope they can get the joker who stole your card and lock him/her up. I hate people who steel.
I hope you have homeowners insurance to pay for the window or help pay for the window.
Good luck and I hope your week gets better.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I hope they get the person. It would be great if the gas station video tape could get the person.
I know about the window and the insurance. If the window is about the deductible I would not even let the insurance know about it. They may raise your rates. I feel all insurances are going to raise their rates to recoup their loses from all the floods and tornadoes we have been having.
We pay for insurance on two homes. In is an estate home which by all rights the other siblings should pay for buy my hubby will not ask them for the money. So it comes out of our budget. He goes out to the estate quite often and checks on the place. I hope they decided to sell it soon. I am tired of paying for it. We pay for the PG&E and the insurance. There is 7 other families who can help pay. Oh well I cannot fight the family. When we run out of money and cannot pay for it any longer someone will have to do something.

I have an idea who may have done it, but not sure. I just hope that there is evidence on the tapes at the gas stations. I've had so much problem here where I live and I don't think having my 19 year old daughter living with me has helped. I've done told my daughter under no circumstance is anyone allowed at my home, if she wants to visit with friends she will have to visit them elsewhere.
I do have homeowners insurance but it probably will be about the same as to replace the window as I have a $250 deductible.

Hi terri, I am sorry to know that you had suffered a series of undesirable events in such a circumstances. Life is such that we might have all these misfortunes clustered together coincidently. Think in this way, as long as it doesn’t involve any serious loss, like life, it still could be considered to lucky enough.
I believe you did suffer much pain as they caused much inconvenience and spoiled your proper schedule totally. I hope by then every of your problem has been settled and feel as ease. Anyway hopping that I won’t ever have such bad to worse events in my future.

Thanks for your response to my discussion. I have had my account credited back with the amount that was charged on my debit card. Still awaiting to hear that they have the suspect on the tapes at the gas station.

Thank you very much for responding. I've never had any success at police catching the culprit before but I hope and pray they do this time.

I truly believe if we aren't under attack then we aren't pressing in hard enough. Church services has been awesome this past week with pressing in harder than usual and then all this happens. God told me just earlier today, if you aren't under attack your not pressing in hard enough!
