Technology should not be as bad as we made it in our surroundings because it is we who do not give full attention to our proper and respectable work. It is good that we need chitchat and we go for that

Hello welcome back.....well I don't know what you missed because I've also had problems, we had internet problems and I couldn't use my computer all weekend, till today. By the looks of my inbox I've got alot of catching up to do too...lol.

Minnie, glad you are back on line. You have to watch lightening as well when it comes to DSL modems you would not believe all of the customers that have lost theirs in the last few stormes we have had.

I am sure you miss a lot of your friend's discussion minnie but I know you will be able to handle it well...Welcome back and I know the feeling being away from Mylot..Even a day of power out will bug me a lot, I am also addicted in this site...Love the journey here!

I was gone for almost a month due to technology and the iodicy of the internet provider that I have service through.. I finally got it straightened out and had the internet on in about 2 minutes, but they were in the wrong and I was right this time, but had the fight of my life on my hands to get it straightened out.. I almost went crazy without my internet.. I do honestly believe that you can have withdrawal when you can't "surf".. Sometimes you just have to reset your modem to make it work right again.. My son who works on computers for a living, always unplugs my modem, lets it set for about 2 minutes and then plugs it in again and it works just fine.. You might try this the next time, if it happens again.. Good to have you back..

Its good your back, we need you girl. Katesmamma done made your daddy (Grandpa Bob) turn into a monster. I am sure you know he has his own interest group, now he is recruiting people for it. I am seriously worried about a maor earthquake when his head goes Kaboom, its getting bigger and bigger. They have a contest going on, we need you, don't leave us anymore, HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Welvcome back and ytup it gets tough when something goes wrong with our stuff and we have to be off line for awhile then oh boy the catch up is something else!

Ha Ha Ha in simple u must admit that u missed Mylot and ur friends and not to forget EARNING and irritated as why modem get out of order and specially on week end But its part of life and sure u can catch up with all the stuff without any problem. Hey another thing i just want to add that u have not missed any thing as u will catch up but sure U WERE MISSED have nice time, bye

Hi you did not miss a whole lot. Gabs went through her surgery'without a hitch and is now home and doing well.Darkwing'stayed with her and helped out. other than 'that I dont know much . glad you got a new modem. Now you can catch up with things.

I love technology but I also hate it when I'm about to disassemble it and fix it. I use to fix my own computer (desktop) when there's something bad happening with my system unit. I just hate dealing with wires and all that. Anyway, welcome back to you. I hope your modem wont screw up anymore. ;)

Oh my god, having computer stuffs malfuntionning is one of the thing that I hate the most. I can't suft net, can't play games, can't do work, can't msn and can't come to mylot. I would always try my best to avoid something wrong with my computer, and it's nice that you have your computer recovered :)

You didn't miss anything terribly important, at least not to my knowledge... :) And that stinks that your modem fried. At least you're back on the Internet now!

I do have to agree with you that myLot is like an addiction,because I miss it even though I do get to log in almost everyday, but I haven't been able to respond to discussions the way that I would like to do here at myLot. Glad you are back! And yes, technology sucks when it don't work right.

welcome back minnie, i was away for a week too for i need to work not near from home and i need to be at that place for five days. when i returned home and opened my email there was a lot of email that i really need to do some catching as well. so i can say there is nothing much happened during my absense. goodluck with the catching up.

Glad to see that you have your computer back up. I have never gotten my modem wet, but I do know that keyboards doesn't like diet pepsi.
