infant thrown away...

me and my wife took us 5 years before we got a child. my wife got a lot of miscarriage before we hit the jackpot. so in our side hearing news like this is really hurting and disgusting as well. the most hurting on this story is were is the father of the child? there are a lot of teens get pregnant and the father just run away. that is what i hate the most. i am a guy and i am really disgusted with guys who all they think about is the head between their legs. well sorry vanities for that is a different issue. i am also glad that she was caught by the authorities.

Saw that too I also am disgusted by these thing happening in our place. The other night we saw also a baby thrown out of the condo unit. This time this baby is just fortunate that the baby survived and suffered only bruises. What a day for this baby to be born out of this world just to be thrown out of by her own mother. I think the mother was caught as the police had sent the baby to where the mother is taken too.

It is so bad of the women who throw away their babies, who are so unlucky to have mothers like that. Yes, they could always send them to someone who needs a baby rather than throw them away. They might kill the infants if they do like this.

This is really bad, but yes it happens everywhere. I have heard of mothers who throw their babies in dust bins. I feel really bad for the little ones who for no fault of their own have to suffer immediately after birth. If they dont want the baby, they should go in for abortion. Bearing the baby to full term must bring a bond between the mother and child usually. How can they then even think of doing such a thing. I am really glad the woman got caught and hope she gets punished.

It also happens here and its just so sad as all the girl or woman has to do is take the infant to her nearest fire station and hand it over and nobody will' fault her for saving the infants life. but instead they'abandon them in washrooms and even in dumpsters and sometimes they are saved and again they die. so sad and so easily prevented I think they can even go to some hospitals and also give their babies up and nobody will fault them. so why dont they do this?

As stated above, there is a law here in New york that says the same thing. If a mother makes the decision that she can't take care of her new born child then , she is asked to drop it off at a palce such as a hospital, police staion, ect. Being a young mother of 2, I know how hard it can be. But I don't see how it could be so hard as to the point where I could purposely harm my child.

it also happens in my home country even here in australia... even though it is not as often as in indonesia... but still, i think it is very cruel for the mum to do that... why getting pregnant at the first place if you don't want the baby??? why suffer for 9 months carrying the baby inside your tummy and the labour process if after the baby is born you throw him/her away??? it is so sad... i think these parents have to be punished severely so that they will realise their mistakes... take care and have a nice day...

its so sad that woman now a days have a low morale and no fear in God,i am hoping that this woman will punish for what she had done with her baby!

We have a law here in Minnesota that if you don't wany your baby you can turn it into any hospital and there will be no questions asked! And they will not look for the mother but find a good home for the baby.....this young lady that threw away her child.....well they can throw her away too as far as I am concerned. When someone hurts a child they should recieve the same treatment so they know what it feels like!

I wish someone would thrw mom out of a moving vehicle! If people do not want their babies there are others that do! Please put the baby up for adoption do not harm it! Babies are precious and should be treated that way!

What's happening to people these days? This is just horrible. The only reason that I can think of why any woman would do such things is that she's totally out of her mind, insane, crazy! Like you said, there's a lot of options. Had she been in the right mind, at least one of those options would have crossed her. Options which are definitely more humane than just killing an innocent child. Her own child.

I'm really not to sure, but I think it does happen here in Atlanta as well. It is horrible. I was just talking to a young lady about the love a mother has for her child. It is like no other love I've known. I could never understand it until I had my own children. I love them so much that I could never, ever hurt them. I think you'd have to literally be out of your mind to hurt your children. All I can say is to pray that people come to their sense!

Yes the worthless woman them out here doing the same thing too. The last one I hear was found in a pit latrine. I remember when I was working downtown kingston, a baby was found in a stall. One of my ex staff told me that if she was the one who found the baby she would have being that child to me. There are so many woman out there like myself who cannot have children and the one's that can have are throwing them away without a backward glance. There is this guy studing for lawyer here in my country he was found in an garbage bin. Now he is a UNICEF advocate for children and studing for lawyer. Sometimes I wonder what his mother is now thinking if she is still alive. Woman needs to think twice because they don't know what future their children holds for them.

It just upsets me to read news like this. Right from the point when these women learned that they're pregnant, they are already responsible for the life of the child inside their womb. For them to just leave their babies somewhere and hope for someone to find them and take care of them is a very irresponsible thing to do. I wouldn't even accept it if these mothers would say they're just trying to make a choice. True enough, they made a choice for themselves because they felt they needed to and felt had the right to do it. But did they forget that these babies also the right to make the choice to live and be with their mothers?

Hi there vanities, So sad a young mother thrown a baby on the street, I think before she left home with the baby, all problem she carried with. Young mother should be supported by her family. But when this baby seeing as a shame, burden and sin from this family, a young mother will very confuse to how she might continue her live. This problem also happen in Indonesia, a baby throwing to the river.so so sad..

That's horrible for any women to do to her babies. but no to your question I never heard about that happening here in my town where I live. the worst here is mothers giving up their children to the state. I hate that it happened to my young niece and nephew. she will be 2 yrs. this year and he'll be 3yrs. they keep bouncing around foster home to foster home. me and my mom get the kids every week. my mom is my neighbor and she takes the little girl I get the boy. My son loves playing with him. I can't wait to hear back from the courts I hope soon if we get to adapt them. They need to be happy and be with family, not strangers.

oh my, it is disgusting how people can even dream of doing things like that. Yes there are so many stories here too where i come from.i just feeel sick in the stomach when i hear of such things. If only we could catch the culprits and put them away for good. really i would love to catch them and give them a sentence for life.

I dont think this has happened here but a few babys over the years have been abandoned? If I had been there I would have saved the baby and adopted it, why this was nessasary I dont know someone would have loved to have that baby?

We too have such news with us like moms through there new born in dust bins or in maternety home,or in rail also.There are two kinds of moms ,one does'nt want the child itself and other who does'nt like female baby.I strongly oppose this and Government should pass some action against this.

This is really sad. I can't imagine why anyone would do this either. There are so many people out there that want kids and would give them a great home. I think it is very selfish and there is something really wrong with a woman who could do this to a child.
