Due to rising cost of living our government has encouraged the people to change their lifestyle. Many people of the lower income group have difficulties in buying essential goods whereas the Prime Minister still continues to travel in his private jet Other Ministers continue to do shopping in London. Most Malaysians say we should change the government. What about mylotters? Do you agree that people should change their lifestyles or change the government?

In a lot of cases some people can simply alter there life style. But what about the people who have always struggled Now there just foo boo'ed they really can't afford anything or do anything. And this state of exsistance is become more profound everywhere.
So to me this just singles out the truth that our goverment system is broken. We have become such a world market. Which in social and friendly matters this is wonderful. But for the conditions of goverment and politics this is making everyone else suffer. Nation X suffers a flood and now not only does nation X suffer, but every country suffers. Then when Nation Y suffers a Tsunmi everyone adds up the struggle. And since every one every where is suffering we are all incredibly damaged. And the only thing that remains strong and solid is our political leaders. They all get to live in the lap of luxurury, they get to increase the cost of things that will in return increase there families revenue. And so when there are out of office there even wealthier and more stable then ever thought possible. And there is little care about the burning masses that they have left in complete HAVOC.

Thanks for your response. Many poor people are struggling to make ends meet. The government does not care for the poor, what they care is only their profits. Take me as an example. I am a poor single mother who have difficulties in making ends meet. The goverment announced to all media that they will assist single mothers. When I approached government officers they either ignored me or they tell me that they are unable to assist me because I have only one child.

Hello,Mary! the government has nothing to do with rising prices of all commodities,it is world phenomenon.every country is now passing through hard days.the price of all commodities may come down only after good harvest.but the chance is remote,as the climate is unfavorable for good harvest.the gas price or the price of petrol and diesel are not in the hands of the government.so it has nothing to do.but the government have to find solution to it or face the consequence.thanx.

Malaysia is an oil producing country and it should not increase its petrol price by more than 44%. That is why there are many protests and rallies going on here. All prices have gone up but our salaries remain the same. People are suffering and the government remin indifferent.
