can you eat in the morning?

i CANT! ever! i have this horrible burning sensation when i wake up in the morning, like im soooo hungry...but nothing sounds good, and i wont eat anything because i dont feel like i want anything...and if i try to eat i feel like i will barf...anybody else have the same problem? and if you do, what did you do to help it!?!?

I sometimes have this problem, but it's usually when my Acid Reflux is acting up. DO you have Acid Reflux? Also, how late do you eat the night before? If it's less than 3 hours before you go to bed, that may be the reason. When this happens to me, I drink tea before I eat anything to calm my stomach down.

i dont know if i have acid reflux...sometimes the burning will get so strong that i start gagging and not actually barfing but doing the motions...i usually eat at like 5 in the evening then i go to school until 10 then come home and fall asleep...sometimes i will eat after i get home...but usually not

I don't eat breakfast to prevent an upset stomach. But for your case, just drink something hot like coffee or hot chocolate or something, just to put something on your stomach. Perhaps by an hour you are then ready to eat something.

i have to... as much as i don't like it, i have to eat in the morning... otherwise, i can't concentrate when i am working... i can't work with an empty stomach and i might faint if i force myself... so i have to eat something no matter how little it is every morning... take care and have a nice day...

I can't eat in the morning either. It's something I haven't done since I started first grade. I didn't want to go to school with a full stomach because school made me nervous. And you know what would've happened. I can't believe it's still an odd feeling. I wait until around noon to eat, so I guess that's lunchtime breakfast, lol.

I have problems eating in the morning. When I get up, I feel groggy and if i eat, I will get sick. It usually takes me about an hour or two to come around.. but If i HAVE to eat, I start with something small like whole grain granola bars or fruit snacks. Usually those foods will settle and I wont feel terrible. I usually have to eat in the morning if i am going to be riding in the car. Riding on an empty stomach makes me ill for the rest of the day. If small foods dont work.. i usually suck on peppermints or drink ginger ale.

Oh no, one thing I hate to smell is breakfast foods. I really don't like it, especially foods that has strong smell -- oh gosh, I'm going to have a problem on that. Anyway, I rarely wake up during morning hours so thank goodness for my body clock. hehehe..

I have problems eating in the morning as well. I can't eat for at least an hour after I get up. My problem is if I get up early around 8 or 9 by 11 I'm hungry. So I often take a cereal bar or something with me if I'm on the go so I have something to eat when I eventually do get hungry.
