So atlast i have decided to knock door to door showing Avon books.Ha!!even while i am writing this there is a shiver runing down my spine.?I am feeling so nervous. There is a feeling in my heart which i cannot express. I just dont know how people will react to see me pop up at their houses on Weekends. How will they greet me?? Will they be rude or sweare at me??.If thats happens i will be completely disheartened.I hope they showw courtesy that i am a physically challenged person trying to do something fruitfull. I have asked my seniors and they all have guided me but no one can and will accompany me.Of course my husband will be in the car but???? Please my friends pray for me!!

I have never gone door to door because of some crazy people out there. NEVER go alone. I only go to businesses.

Hello! I sell avon too. I ususlly just buy the books and those bags then go around neighborhood pulling them on the doors. I do not want to talk to the people. If i had to do that i wouldnt be selling it at all. I have problems in my feet and leggs. So just close neighbors. i usually get 60 books and a few flyers. and the door knob bags. I do not wear makeup up i love the jewerly. Now they have the flipflops and clothes too. I also love the bubble baths and lotions n some perfumes. I wish you luck in your avon sales. When did you sign up? I signed up in Oct 2007.

Good luck - this is always the most scary part of doing Avon for me (I am shy) but when you discover you can do it, it will really boost your confidence.

Good luck!! You're very brave to start out on this venture. It's not easy to go out and knock on doors. You'll have rude people, but you will also have very kind people to make up for it. You can't take it personally. I wish you much luck! With your husband in the car, you have some moral support close by and that's a good thing too.

good luck ,i hope it goes well for you.just remember that you may come across a few who may not be nice,so try and not let this put you off,and just keep on trying, you will soon know who you can approach and who you will stay away from.good luck.cheers sue

I used to do Avon, I started it back in 1999 and I was given a road that was classed as "my patch" and it was a huge long road! It was so daunting when I first started, I just put the books through the door and then would go back to collect them. But I remember the apprehension well! But once you get going you will wonder what you were worried about, although there will be one or two awkward ones there always are!

Good luck! I don't think that is something I would be able to do. No door to door for me.
