I know that everyone has their favorites.But what i mean is a song that you really relly love and that has a special meaning in your life.My special song is "yellow" by Coldplay.The guy i happen to be in love with sang it for me and its kinda "our"song.Also "don't look back" by oasis is another of my favorites.The same guy sang the song for me.So its close to me.Do you have any song that's more than a song to you-that reminds you of an experience you had earlier in life?

i was a very angry kid before so i had listened to runaway train by soul assylum like there was no other song. :D
that had become my anthem...but thank god i was out of that phase, lol

I have a lot! But one that comes to mind right now would be "Thank God I found You" by Mariah Carey. Because, I had a pretty rough relationship back then...then my boyfriend now..kinda saved me from that relationship. And, the message really fits our situation...and it was also the song that I sang to him during our first monthsary.

Yes I do. Mine is "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls which reminds me of my best friend when I was in 6th Form. Although we are still good friends now, the song just reminds me of when me and him would hang out and just have a laugh. Another song is "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley which just reminds me of before I went to University.

DEFINITELY!! The one I hold the closest was a song that was dedicated to me by one of my church/high school mates. His name was Rene and he had a crush on me. He was the SWEETEST thing. Anyway on my sweet sixteenth birthday he dedicated to me a song by Peter Cetera "Glory of Love" Until this day I hear it and remember him.

Lol, hmm, actually it depends on my mood and situation I am facing. When I felt like I want to give up and get all emotional and depressed, I will listen to "It's Only Life" by Kate Voegele and "Can't Hold On" by Melee.. both had saved me from my blues with their meaningful lyrics.
When I'm angry and really upset, I used to listen to Linkin Park and Simple Plan (too many songs to list), the words are exactly like what I am feeling and they are screaming it out for me =D

Son of a son of a son of a sailer. By Jimmy Buffet. Thank God Im a Country Boy, buy John Denver. Most all music takes me back to different times and memories. But my favorite was a short spiritual song cant remember the artist only the words...God loves you and I love you and thats the way is should be! Thanks for the quick trip down memory lane.
