What do your grandchildren call you?

I dont have children, but my sister's daughter called Gana , I love her so much.

I am a young mom and still have time to become a grand mom Lol My son calls his dads parents dhadha and dhadhima and my mommy nannima. I wonder why such trivial things bother you... How and why do they bother you?

Well I do not have grandchildren yet. I do have children ages 17 1/2 years, 16 years, and 10 years old. My daughter has called my mom Mi-Mi or Me Me, grammer, and has settled on Grandma. My 16 year old calls her grammer. My 17 year old calls his fathers mother maw-maw which is the norm for biloxi ms I guess but he calls my mother grandma. I myself called my grandmother--- grandma (insert last name here)

I am not a granny yet but my mother is called "mama" by my kids and when I get to have one someday, I want them to call me mommy too. We were used to calling our grannies the way their daughters and sons call them but in my father side, we call our grannies "lolo" and "lola", "apong". My hubby call his grandmom "nanay iba" and his granddad "tatay iba".

I only had my first grandchild (IT'S A BOY! LOL.) the other day. (3 days ago.) So he had only cried a bit, peed and pooped on me so far. But we did watch "Shrek" and a few cartoons together already! But I think I will have him call me grandma!and I would have any other future ones call me by the same title. (Less confusing?)

yes kids can be funny my youngest grandson calls me meemaw and calls my husband bumppa.

I am called Nana by our 2 grandkids. We now have 2 step-grandchildren and they call me by my first name. I don't have a problem with it at all. The other grandparents are called grandma and grandpa since they have 26 or 27 grandkids. Thought it wouldn't be nice of me to try to change it with our grandkids and have them call me grandma and my husband grandpa. It was one of the first words our grandson could say so I was excited.

I am not a grandma, but thought I'd share what my son's call his grandmas. To him each of them is "grandma firstname" so that way we don't get them all confused! The grandmas like it, too because it makes them feel younger!
