I feel honored...

That just proves how very good you are at your profession on teaching as well as being a good mentor, a friend as well as an icon that they look up to compared to the other teachers that they cam across during their years of studying. some can teach but, not most of them grant significant impact towards their pupils. That is indeed a wonderful thing and I also happen to have a teacher like that, or your rather, which, if fortunate that I do find a good job that I could really be proud of, or perhaps one that would really be worth recognizing, I'd also drop by at our school and see how that professor of mine is doing as well as tell of what I have accomplished with the help that sHe has given. I just do hope that sHe will still be there and not elsewhere in some other university..

That's really great that your students have appreciated you so much that they like to keep you over others updated about how you have helped them shape their lives. You really should be proud of yourself! I wish I had teachers like that while I was at 6th form. I hope that I have a teacher who I will benefit strongly while I am at University.

You should feel honored. It's ot often that students go tell former teachers anything. But them wanting "you" to know about their good deals is a honor to you and them. It shows what kind of teacher you are. They respect you and your teaching is what they feel helped them to get where they are. Feel good lady you deserve it.

That's so sweet. I guess it really means a lot for a teacher when the students become successful. I hope I'll be able to share my success stories my favorite professors as well. I think this could be the common feeling of all the teachers.For teachers,the most to be proud of the matter is that their students have a satisfactory status quo.As we have entered the unniversity,we would come back to see our secondary school teachers every year,they were very pleased about our visit and concerned about our future development.Teacher is indeed a job worthy of respect.

With something like this, it shows that the students Trust you, and feel you have done a Good job for them to help them be able to move on and get more out of their life. I would feel proud and honored too if something like this happened to me as well.

You prove to be the role model, and the inspiration of the students. I am of the opinion, students any point of their time gets attracted, to any one of the policies or practices that you would have followed. And this would have created a high esteem about you in their minds. A role of a good teacher is to Inspire than to teach. And pal dolce_vita, me too have great inspiring teachers. Very often i have a teacher, who taught me, when i was schooling..and that is 25 years ago..and now he happens to visit my office at times. Whenever he happens to come, i would automatically get up from my seat and never sit down, before him. But he would compel me to forget that he is my teacher, and would say that i am in a better position than him. But my mind, will never get reconcilled to what he says to me. He taught me,my mother tongue, but that does not inspire me, what inspired me from his teaching is " Do what ever job, assigned to you with utmost sincerity" So, Dolce_vita, my friend, you have proved to be a role model, and i am really happy to converse with one such teacher i had. It just proves that you are a wonderful teacher,as well as a colse friend for your students,I wish I were your sutdent.I'm a graduate student now,my mentor is kind and knowledable,I respect lim so much,but he has at least 15 students,10 of whom are Dr.,so he is very busy.And I am aways afraid to interupt him if I have nothing on academic problem.But I graduate and find a good job, I'll act like your students,beacuse it's him who enable me to get the job.

you are such a nice teacher,the gift from the students is the most precious rewards for a teacher.i have been a teacher for a year also,first ,i found that it was very difficult to contact with my students,partly because i was not so patient being with them,on the other hand,i never talked with them about my inner heart,the only one thing to meet them was about the class.and now when i face back i am so regretful that i never treated them as my friends then.it was a bad experience,it told me that you showed your inner heart,then it would be showed back.
