When is the last time you got to sleep in?

I know Sophia's sleep schedule because I have spent the night with you several times recently. And I am on her schedule too when I am there. This morning I slept in until 9:30 and that is the latest I have slept in for awhile now. It felt good to sleep in today. I guess I needed it.

I have just started getting my lie ins back, and I don't mean to rub it in but it is bliss! Up until a couple of months ago my 2 year old daughter was not even sleeping through the night. It was awful I was getting so down. But now she is fine (touch wood) and at weekends her brothers get up with her and they all watch tv together or play. It is great!

My husband lets me sleep in every Sunday on his day off. If he gets a day off during the week I let him sleep on that day. We have 5 kids, the youngest is 5 months old. We've only just gotten to the point of sleeping through the night! But taking turns sleeping in is something we've done for years.

I slept in today. My daughter is now twelve so it's no big deal if I do sleep in. She will wake me if she needs me. She went to her father's yesterday, though so I really get to sleep...lol. Our summer recreation program starts soon, though and I will have to be up every morning to take her down there so that stinks. When my daughter was small I was working quite a bit so my ex used to get up with her some mornings so I could sleep in. To this day I remember how much I appreciated that little act of kindness.
