Mickey is the star, it's written in his contract that he must be bigger than any of his pets. It's also written that he may appear topless in any cartoon in which he appears. He is the Donald Trump of the cartoon world, the Big Cheese, so to speak.

Why does Mickey have no shirt and Donald have no pants, but Goofy has a full outfit? And I think that Minnie has a dress, but Daisy only has a shirt and shoes.

That's because of how they were created by Walt Disney. Yes, Mickey is a mouse, but he also takes on some human traits making him the "supperior being." Pluto is a dog, a pet dog. Just leaving Pluto the way he is. and Yes Goofy is a dog, but he ahs human traits so they made him big. Just leav as that. I don;t even know why you even come to ask this question.

Hey I thought this was a light question for poking fun at cartoons, seems like you are taking it more seriously than that. Cartoons are purely imagination and the more far fetched it is, the more funny it gets. Its not supposed to be real/ logical/ practical. If you approach it that way, you cant get much humor from it. A sense of humor is like grease in the wheel of a cart, without it, every stone is a jolt and life is one bumpy ride.

That is the way Walt Disney wanted to make his cartoon characters. It is just like asking why pluto is on all fours and barking while goofy is upright and speaking. They are both dogs.

Because the owner must be bigger than its pet.
If the owner(mickey) is smaller, then how to take care for the pet(pluto)?
