What's the oddest thing you ever found in your freezer on clean out day?

i found the magic wand, the tv remote!! weve been searching for it for days then suddenly i saw it while looking for something to cook. nobody admitted who forgot it there.

That is so funny! I'm sure it was a welcome find in your house. Your daughter must have been on cloud 9! I've found some weird things in our freezer from time to time. I tend to try and multi-task after taking my allergy pill... not a good idea. So I loose things quite easily. Which means I've found things like pens, cordless phone, a glass (it shattered!). On cleaning day I always find plenty of mystery meat baggies complete with little icicle cities, lol.

I have found bugs that have flew into my freezer and gotten frozen. I have also found toys, now how they got in there is beyond me.

Chocolate also. Before I am in charge of cleaning our ref but when I met an accident I dont have to clean it now as I cant use my left hand totally. At one time when there was no power and it took so long that our ref need be cleaaned, and I cleaned it and wow, I found a bag of chocolate candy. Maybe its one of those candies given to me by my friend about a month ago. So we have a nice sweet meal.

Well, I must say I haven't had any interesting finds in the last few years but when I was younger and I had my first flat things often used to move about. I found bills and my keys in my freezer. There were candles (unlit of course), pens, ornaments, coffee mugs, packets of pasta, condiments etc etc - not put there by me might I add and I was the only one living there. Freaky place that one, glad to have moved on from there! So do I win?

Hmmmm freezer? I've no idea. However the oddest thing found in my fridge was my debit card in the crisper drawer. No idea how it got there. Must of been one of my sleep walking episodes.

I ound a newspaper that I think I put in there in a hurry when I was unpaking the grocceries one day, and it happened to be in the same shopping bag. I think I had to go somewhee in a hurry, so I stufed everything in the freezer so that I could get where I needed to go aster. LOL

HeHe. While cleaning out my freezer to prepare for our move, I found a candle. Hubby looked at me like I was crazy when we found the candle. After we finished laughing, I told him that I remembered the day I placed the candle in the freezer. The candle was in a nice glass dish that I wanted to save, but the candle was shot. I had read that if one placed the candle in the freezer for about 30 minutes, the candle would pull away from the glass dish readily. I apparently put it in there and forgot about it and it got pushed to the back and hidden!!!

We just got a new upright freezer a few weeks ago. It was an anniversary gift for me, from my husband. Anyway, he was cleaning out the chest freezer, and moving some of the stuff over to the upright freezer, and found a bottle of pizza sauce. The only thing I can think of is that it must have fallen down into the freezer when we were putting food away sometime. It normally goes on the shelf above the freezer.

This is a good discussion. I have 3 freezers. One in the fridge in our house, one in the fridge in the garage and a stand up freezer in the garage. In the house I once found a towel in the freezer. No idea how or why it was in there. Just yesterday I opened the freezer in the garage and found my daughters ball! I think her brother put it there to be a pain. And when I cleaned out the stand up freezer, there was a huge snowball that must have been made with the first snow because it was covered with grass and mud too.

I found a toast, which my son has kept before 8 days, for eating in the evening. Once a bottle of sause which I never keep in the freeze & so many things we keep & forget.

My son like to stick his toys in the freezer sometimes. I once found a frozen solid hard as a rock dish rag once. I guess it must have been in my hand when I went out to the deep freeze to get something and I set it down in there and forgot about it.

Well it wasn't on cleaning out day but one day when I went to go get something out of the freezer I found a washcloth in there. I think my mother was cleaning off the freezer where she had spilled something and just forgot and left it in there. I have never left anything like that in the freezer but one time I took the remote in the bathroom and forgot where I had put it. It took me a while to find it.

A piece of bread.It smelt very bad jusut like the smellof freezer.

i found my ex husbands head in there. :O wonder how it got there...

Well, my mum could have answered this one for you ! She once put the ash tray in the freezer once, and started asking me and my brother if we had broken it, because she won't mind if we did, but we should tell her. When she finally looked in the fridge and found it she was really surprised !

Nothing really odd but we always find the peas or some kind of vegetables at the bottom of the freezer when we clean it out.
