which version of linux flavour u like the most & why?

Actually im looking for most efficient and stable linux version with most features init and most of us are more experience in linux then me so plz give feedback on this based on your experience & usuage.

I am also very new to linux. I tried Puppy , Ubuntu ,Xubuntu etc.
As most efficient and stable linux version all distro are good.
It totally depend on your need, If you want linux for just your home desktop
Ubuntu is perfect .If you have less system capability such as small ram etc you can go for Xubuntu .Select your linux distro from distro watch .

Ubuntu latest version is Ubuntu 8.10 .Also Ubuntu have large helping support
like mailing list ,LUG ,forums etc .You can get great help from there .
