It was my first flight experience. I was very much excited about the trip. And also tensed a lot. It helped too much cause my friend going with me was also having his first experience. It made me feel i'm not the only one. My tension thus eased i fell into a sound sleep like i often do on journeys and slept till my friend woke me up at the destination.
How was your experience on your first trip via plane?

Hi
I had to travel at the last moment by flight since no tickets were available by any other modes of transportation to attend to my ailing brother-in-law. So the tension of traveling by air was overcome by the other tension. This was my first flight experience.

I was too young to remember it, but my parents said i stared out the window the ENTIRE time. Now, I'm 15, almost 16, and will have my private pilots license in a year or so. I absolutely LOVE being off the ground.

I was never really afraid to fly. My first airplane trip was from my childhood home in Louisiana to Atlanta, Georgia to visit my aunt for the summer. I was so excited about the trip and the trip went off without a hitch. It was a short plane ride, too. I remember I wished it was longer because it was so short that it seemed like as soon as we hit altitude, we were already preparing for descent!

hi,
my flight for the for the first time was very eventful. i was late to the airport and never knew that there were all kinds of security checks and all. i went through them comfortably because a security staff helped me lot and on the flight i was frightened because that was a rainy day and also there was a lot of thunder and all .
but the plane went over the clouds and it was a clear sky there. so then it went smooth.

hello sagarsamrat,
ya it is comfortable to be in the high altitudes as there are very less of the weather problems there. and also it is very dangerous to board a flight during the thunderstorms. well it was good that your flight went smooth.
anyways have a good day and thanks for the response.

The first flight experience I've ever had, or first I can remember is when I was about 6 years old and we went on a family trip. It only took 1 hour so it wasn't too bad and since I'm a patient and quiet person it wasn't that bad. Although I probably slept half way. I have some trouble sleeping on the plane unless it's night or dark.

hi jban,
well it was very nice that you had your flight so early when you were so young. that way you had so much less of things to think of. and also i have trouble sleeping in the flights when it is not that dark.
thanks for responding to my discussion and have a good day.

i can't really remember my first flight experience anymore as it was so long ago when i did that... it is from my home country to singapore when i want to pursue my further study and it is in 1993... so it is about 15 years ago... but i think it is just ordinary and nothing exciting as the flight only takes about a little more than an hour... so before i know it, i had landed in changi airport... take care and have a nice day...

hi parthajena,
well i was very thrilled before i went on to the air port but .... when i reached there i was feeling too much nervous .... and when i entered the flight i managed to keep my cool. but when the flight attendant started describing about the safety norms, emergency exits and all i felt like i am not going to reach my destination today.
well that was how my first flight went.
anyways have a good day.

hi praveenjena,
that is the usual routine that flight attendant speaks before take off. and you have to listen that whenever you got to take a flight. well that could also make one imagine all kind of strange things.
have a good day.

My first airplane flight was also the first time I ventured away from home on my own.
I had just graduated high school and turned 18 and was on my way to Marine Corps boot camp. It was a very memorable day for sure.
I've obviously flown a lot since then and I love the sensation of flying, but I don't like being squashed in such a little space for so long.

hi chej18,
well a lot of people experience the flight sickness but gradually the seem to tide over those as they ave more flights. also you said about talking to your co passengers ..... that would seem a bit of funny now when you are out of the flight now and you feel like ... well " i talked so much".
have a good day.

I was a 28 yrs old mother of 2 at the time and had never been on a plane before. My sister in law lives in California and we live in New York. Her wedding was in California so we had no choice but to fly. Now this was both of my boys first flight as well. They were both scared and so was I (but I couldn't let them know that). When the plane first started to take off tears just started streaming down my face. Now I wasn't blubbery crying or anything, I just couldn't help this stream of tears. Both of my boys had their eyes closed so I was able to wipe the tears away before they saw. Obviously we all made it fine, but I am still not crazy about flying.

hello chibakeru,
well it was indeed very good that you took just a couple of more flights to get accustomed to the flights there are people like me who even after taking a lot of flights do not even like the idea of flying and also never gets comfortable at the flights.

i do not think that i have had enough money to be on a plane. "itni kamai nahin hui hai ki mein plane mein baith sakun". that is in hindi.
when i watch movies like final destination and snakes on a plane i feel like it is good that i have never been on a plane but still i think that it would be wonderful to be on one. i will certainly comment to this one...... as soon as .....get my pocket loaded enough to be on one.... at least once. ha ha

Wow where'd you go? I usually have a hard time sleeping on the plane. Not only is it jolty, it's also always bright! I'm spoiled when it comes to sleeping--there has to be absolute silence and darkness. Also, the plane seats are rather uncomfortable to rock me to sleep. But I'm glad you found your first flight relaxing. Did you have a chance to look out the window? The view's always great especially when landing or during take off. :)
