Paid to drive your car with an ad on it?

My neighbor was just telling me about a company that her friend signed up with. It's an advertising company that pays you 600$ a month plus mileage to drive your car around with an ad on it.
I've never heard of this before! I just googled, but couldn't find the exact one she was talking about.
Regardless of the company though, has anyone ever heard of this?
Have you been paid?
I'm so curious now. She is going to give me the info about the company and I'm going to check it out.

Even though I can't actually drive yet and don't have a car, this sounds like a very interesting way to make a few extra bucks. I'm not sure I'd let them paint my whole car (if I had one), but maybe just like a large bumper sticker on the back windshield wouldn't be too bad. I think a person down the street from me does this, but I can't be sure they don't actually own the company themselves.

Okay, thats better, but you're right, I think I would let paint it if my car was old and needed paint anyways.

i never heard about this before here... it is a good amount of money... $600 extra per month just to drive the car around with an add on it... i will do it as well if i can do it here... it will be very helpful to cover my bills and other expenditures... take care and have a nice day...

Yes, some of them are legitimate. It depends on the make and age of your vehicle and your driving patterns. If you are selected they will paint your vehicle, you have to document mileage and routes driven. I have not done it but my neighbor did. They turned me down because I drive an old truck.

What a wonderful idea. I live in a small town so it probably wouldn't work here but I hope it works out for you.

I have heard of things like that before. They seem to take a limited amount of vehicles and the vehicles need to meet their specifications. I know when I looked into it they were not taking vehicles at that time, but there may be more than one company.

I would be really interested in doing that.
I am very interested and going to read all the replies to see if anyone had some more information. I hope you can find the company and qualify for it. What a great easy job that would be.

Yes I have! There are even one or 2 companies locally that do this. I have seen them on the internet as well. There is a new one started in January. It's called Eyeearn www.eyeearn.com
