1. Went for a long walk with your sweetie? (Thanks Grandpa Bob for the reminder!)
2. Gave a compliment to someone?
3. Did a random act of kindness to a stranger?
4. Held your tongue when someone criticized you?
5. Told someone you loved them?
Don't let this day go by without giving someone else a happy moment.

Well I can site two examples here...I was visiting a dear friend of mine down the block..it recently was her birthday and I came over with a gift for her...she has a lovely, lively spirit and I hope I can have the same energy she has now...she's 76 now! Anyway when I asked how old she was I complimented her that she didn't look over 50...and I MEANT it..she really doesn't---by the smile on her face I knew I had made her day. Another time...I was in my nearby Walgreen's...one of the things they were having on sale was large cans of salmon. This elderly woman was looking all over for them and it did look like they had all sold out...I stooped down to look at the bottom shelf and all the way in the back...viola...cans of the salmon and handed them to her....she was so happy I helped her find them...hehe...maybe she was getting the salmon for her cat..

Well...
1) about two days ago... although we were with some friends it was still just as special!
2)Yesterday, im presently staying at my sister and her bf's apartment. i just saw it for the first time yesterday and its gorgeous!
3)I'm not exactly positive, i do RAOK's very often.. its just usually little things and i have a terrible short term memory.
4)every day i try.. i most likely will succeed..
5)I actually told someone i loved them last night, i wrote somebody a message this morning saying i loved them.
(because hes my love)
And its very true... random acts of kindness are worth alot these days. i ant believe some of the additudes i get just driving to a gas station and back. every comment helping hand helps to brighten someones day the litles bit!

I often forget to do things like this, which is sad, because I always feel better when I do. By the way, congratulations on getting your star!

1)The last time my husband and I went for a long walk (alone without our kids) was a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas. We walked down the strip. Even though there were tons of other people around, I felt like we were really spending some nice one-on-one time together. 2)The last time I gave a compliment to someone was earlier today. I told my daughter she did a great job in soccer. 3)I do alot of random acts of kindness. I don't really think about it, I just do it. It just feels like I helping someone I know rather than a stranger. I like to help everyone who looks like they need help. 4)The last time I held my tongue when I was criticized was Memorial Day weekend. Both my sisters kind of made rude comments and I didn't say anything back b/c I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't mean to sound hurtful. So, I let it go. 5)I told my husband the other night that I love him. Thank you for asking, it makes me think of my life.
