Like you, I also do enjoy cooking as long as the ingredients are there present and if I am going to feed my loved ones.
If my memory still serves me perfectly, I remember cooking plain rice for the entire family together with four to six sunnyside up eggs. These were the first meals I cooked for them when I was still a high school student.
I started schooling here in the city while my parents lived most of their lives in the province. I only get to come home and be with them every summer vacation, and extended holiday seasons. Aside from cooking, I also do the laundry and take care of my younger siblings. I'm the eldest among four siblings in the family. Both of our parents have separate jobs; working for the government. I feel that these are some of the simple ways I could be of help to my parents and also, it is my way of thanking them for everything they have done and given to me. They did not have to hire the services of a nanny when I was with them.
All of these has been almost two decades ago already. Now, I have my own family being married for more than five years and we have one daughter for a child. She has just turned three last month. Until now, we still don't have our own properties, house and land in particular, but we are really striving hard to make this dream of ours a reality in the soonest possible time.

I love cooking too. It is a time of the day where i can free myself from the worries and focus on creating sth interesting. A food that has been cooked carefully and well, is a thing of art in my opinion. And, by the way, i am a man :) Not that it matters much, men usually make very good cooks, when they got time and will to cook.

I really enjoy cooking and baking....especially when the recipe I am preparing turns out! Yes, I have had some disasters but for the most part 90% of what I prepare turns out wonderful. Right now I am into baking breads and trying to find a really moist, dark bran muffin recipe. My daughter shares my love for cooking and we have a great time swapping recipes & tips.

I love to cook.. sadly, i don't do it enough. I was going to take it at school but I couldnt do it with what else i wanted to do (the more important stuff). I do make sausage rolls at home though... Mmm tomato base with onions and sausage meat, AND mixed herb.... (^^,)
