Yes to some extent. If you have a degree doesn't mean that you can easily walk into an office and waltz out with a job and be happy forever. What we learn in our life is what is going to help us get ahead in life. It is your attitude, will power and the quest for life that will help you. A person who has the confidence in him will succeed. Bill Gates doesn't havea degree but he is one of the richest man in the world! So it is not necessary to be well educated. Experience is the best education.

yes i totally agree with u. there are lots of people with a degree but they dont have a job .
there can be many reasons behind that one.
1) their attitude ,level of confidence, communication skills
2) there are limited resources. today there is 100 candidates behind a single job. then in that case all cannot get a job.

I slightly disagree with you. I feel that a person's personality and attitute counts more than a degree. Now a days employers look for something extra in his employees. A degree can guarantee you a chance till the interview but, after that it is your experience that counts. Now one would ask you to explain Kotlar's 4 p's but would ask you how would you sell a thing. So I think people now should pay attention to experience also.

Eduacation comes in may forms. Education in the classroom, self-education, work experience education, real life education, and more. I for one am more of the self taught, work experience, real life kind. My husband is the classroom type. I have a better chance of getting job, based on work experience. Education is wonderful if you know how to use it and you use it to it's full potential. Their are people who have master degrees and have a hard time out in the business world. My father is a self made man that only has a high school education. He now owns his own very successful business. Use your education well, and work hard toward your goals and you will succeed.

I think a degree and education is often over rated. Some people excel at memorizing skills and information so they can do well on tests but are unable to put that knowledge to work for them in the "real" world. I think education and hands on experience should go together.
