i have been planning to buy a flat monitor since a few months, but my monitor of now , though still serves my purspose, everytime i feel like changing it , my inner self says y du u want to buy a flat montior just for the fancy of it, iam in two minds how to proceed

Hi.
I have a traditional monitor at my workplace and a flat one at home and both are fine for me. I have always believed in latest technologies and thus went for the flat one straight away. More so it allows me to have more space to work with around my computer table.

Yes I have flat monitor.. I am using flat monitor at my home and LCD at my office

Depends on how god your traditional CRT is. If it was cheap to begin with, go for the flat one. Better quality and you'll even sort of take care of your eyes. Not to mention it takes less room and is more power efficient.
