Trees are very important to life on this planet. They help supply oxygen and refresh the air we breathe, by using the carbon dioxide that we produce when we exhale, and when we burn fossil fuels. Trees also reduce noise pollution and and absorb dust as well as other air pollutants. Planting trees are a great way to help the environment. Have you planted a tree lately?

I've planted fruit trees in the garden. a couple of years back, I went on a school trip with some nursery children to see Santa in a forest park. We were all given a little Christmas tree seedling, about 6inches tall. Mine's still in a garden tub but has had a sudden growth spurt and is a healthy 2 feet now.

Hello dear pose. I have planted quite a few trees together with my students on campus. That was years ago, and now the trees we have planted are very tall, giving us very shadow and coolness when we pass them. I am very happy to see the trees we have planted grow so well, making the campus so green and nice-looking. I feel very relaxed when I see the whole of the greens everywhere. I love green plants.

I helped to plant a tree in a village in China 3 years ago. We were there on a mission trip, also to help the community. The trees we planted were fruit trees so that the poor villagers could use the fruits for sustainance and to sell.
That was one of the most meaningful trips I had ever been on. Apart from going with a whole busload of some 40 university students from the city to the countryside to plant trees, we also visited a leprosy village (the people had all been cured and it was no longer infectious but they were still being shunned) to spend time with the people there and show them that there were people who cared for them.

i did plant trees before. when i was a child and at the school, our teachers always organized us to plant trees once a year. we have a special day "planting-trees day". each year, many people go out to plant trees on that day.

I haven't planted a tree lately or ever in my life to be honest.
Whenever I buy something made of wood or just wooden planks I do look for logo's that tell you this wood comes from a place that plants back a tree for every tree they cut down. This way I feel like I'm doing something back. You pay a little extra but you know that these companies have the obligation to plant back a tree for every tree they cut down. This durability is good for the environment. We shouldn't just take, we should give something back too... balance :)

Yes, I have planted trees. I love trees. Even when I can't plant trees I would throw the seed so that it may sprout. If govt. projects forces it to cut trees, I think instead of protesting and wasting our time it is better to plant trees. That way we can have development as well trees that are being replanted. For every tree cut if we can plant two we can save our planet or else we're doomed!

I haven't planted one lately but I have two trees at my dads place that I grew from seedlings that I got in kindergarten. They are a lot taller than I ever got. I also have a christmas tree that I planted after Christmas one year. I think it is important that we replace as many trees as we can too.

Hi Pose123! I remember that I have planted trees every year when I was still in school. It is a school program/activity that we the students do each school year. And that was a long time ago. Now that I have long been a a graduate, the only trees that I have planted were banana trees and papaya trees in our backyard and that was three years ago.
Take care and God bless!

I have planted a tree long back, I will planting another tree very soon, looking for an opportunity to plant the tree. If we have trees every where it is good because it reduce noise pollution, gives us fresh air and the place look greenary, I love trees and places which are full of trees or plants.

Yes, in China's rural areas, each family will plant trees around their house while people in cities have no enough space to plant trees. When my whole family lived in the bungalow, parents had planted several trees around the house.Like Chinese Toon, grape tree and fig tree. These trees have brought fruit, shade and also pleasure for my childhood. Now my family has moved into the storied building,we can not find a space for the trees.

yeah, i've already planted tree when i was still in the province. me and my dad plant manggo and mahogany tree in our farm. we also plant trees in our school when i was still a grade schooler. we need to plant more trees now a days to lessen the effect of global warming. more trees also lessen the soil erosion and flooding in many areas. plant trees and save more lives in the future...

We like trees around us because they make life more pleasent. Most of us respond to the presence of trees beyond simply observing their beauty. We feel serene, peaceful, restful, and tranquil in a grove of tress.Trees alter the environmental in which we are living by moderating climate, improving air quality, conserving water, and harboring wildlife.Climate control is obtained by moderating the effevts of sun, wind and rain.Radiant energy from the sun is absorbed and deflected by leaves on dedecious trees in the summer and is only filtered by branches and decidious trees in winter.we are cooler when we stand in the shade of trees.Air quality can be improved through the use of trees, shrubs and turfs.leaves filter the air the air we breathe by removing dust and other particulars
I planted so many trees from my childhood by planting a tress and shrubs, we return to a more natural
who ever reads this discussion please plant at least one tree in you life
