I find myself often, at night, staring at the stars. What draws me out to see them? Is it they are familiar to me for I know the constellation? Is it hope, that is looking to the heavens will bring it someday? Is it wonder, is tere someone staring back? I do know this that it brings comfort when nothing else can. Why do you look at the stars and if you dont why not?

I have stared at the stars since I was young and agree they are comforting. There is an ingrained familiarity that gives comfort. I understand that the essence of who we are is more in tune with astral worlds. In our humanness we forget this relationship. Depending on how sensitive you are, there are sensations you can pick up from them. Individually they produce their own energy that has a particular flavor. If you get good at it you can discern the differences. It is one of the most beautiful exercises you can do while star gazing.

I love staring at the stars too .. i dont know how to explain it, but it is almost too good to lay back on your back on a windy day in grass with your favourite song playing at a low volume and staring at the stars. It is indeed very relaxing, Makes me think about different thing, makes me ask questions we were told not to ask. (Who created it all, why are we here, are there more like us and all) ...
It does brings comfort, a sense of security .. i dont know why, but i know it does.
Have a nice day ... and a nice night. :)

i don't stare at the stars. a star doesn't stare at other stars just kidding.....yes i occasionally look at the stars. i feel how fast this universe, and how happy i'm to know i'm the part of this universe, this universal brother(and sister)hood. staring at the stars, i won't feel lonely anymore. do you know the saying, "the power which moves the stars will help you"?
