If you purchased an equipment or even a toy that is manually assembled, do you keep the manuals or user guides? It is better to keep it for future reference, right? What do you think? Just Sharing, SFC

I have BOXES of instruction manuals. We save every one! However, when we decide to get rid of an item, the manual is forgotten. The only manuals I can remember being referenced: The garage door opener (had to go online to get it)--so we could change the keypad number when we moved in. The Dish Network manual--that was my husband, I don't remember why he needed it. Other than that, maybe a remote control helicopter manual, but just to see how to set it up. The rest are just taking up space, never being thought of...

I have made a point to keep all manuals to anything new that comes into the house. I also make sure to keep them all in one place. I use to be bad about sticking them here and there and then a year or two later when I needed them, I didn't have a clue where they were. I just toss them all in a box and keep them in a cabinet under my bookcase.

I like to keep manuals especially with cellphones I just bought. It helps to refer to it especially when there are applications or programs in the phone that I don't know how to use.

I do and I always say you should. I have a file just for manuals. The reason I do it is because sometimes that orginal information from the manufacuator is just needed for a spare part or directions a month later bc you didnt do something right. Why not I say?!

I do keep manuals, usually in a drawer in the kitchen, if I am organized enough to remember out them there, My manual for my video camera is in my compuer bag/ camera case, incase I need to look something up. Compuer and other electronic manuals are particularly important.

I do make it a point to keep the manuals handy just in case. It may be needed sometime in the future.
