Hi cher. For me I think that is Gone With The Wind and Too Late To Forget with Debora Kerr. But I like many others love stories like Email for You and The Little Store in the Square. We must remember Breakfast at Tyffanys that I think is one of my favorites.

I can't pick one. But my three would be Casablanca, The African Queen, and Jerry McGuire.

I have two, Romeo and Juliet and Mayerling. Both are very romantic and both have tragic endings. There are two love stories that I do like that have happy endings, Moonstruck and Cousins.

My favorite love story movie is From The Terrace. It was probably made in the 50s. It's on tv every once in a while. It stars Paul Newman (now he's a hunky movie star that can act ... ladies when you see this guy in his prime you will forget all about Brad Pitt, George Clooney, etc.) and his real life wife Joanne Woodward. He plays an ambitious young lawyer from the other side of the tracks who falls in love with and marries a wealthy socialite (Joanne). He goes to work for her father's company and climbs up the ranks. She likes being married to the young, handsome workaholic (he's also trying to get approval from his father who always liked his brother best) but she's bored and takes lovers. He finds out about her indescretions and meets and falls in love with a simple, honest girl on one of his business trips. I won't spoil the ending for you. I never get tired of watching this classic (in my opinion) film.

Well, you named some great movie love stories, that's for sure. However, The Way We Were with Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford is just "it" for me. I mean, it has everything: politics, people from 2 different backgrounds, angst, and "forever love." It breaks my heart every single time I've watched it. And believe me, I've watched this film many, many times. Titanic is also a great film, but, you know what? I can't stand to watch what happens in that film. It just hurts too bad. I've seen it only once and can't bring myself to watch it again. Great discussion, cher913. PearlGrace

I agree with Pinks 17--the Notebook made me cry--Nicholas Sparks is good at that. Also, how about Jerry McGuire (you had me at hello.) How about Beauty and the Beast? Only kidding.

I'm not really a fan of romantic movies. But I kinda liked 27 dresses. Well, for me, it looks realistic. It happens and it's something simple yet cute. I like how a woman, after long years of waiting, arranging someone else's wedding and attending as bridesmaid for 27 times in 27 wedding ceremonies finally fell in love and get married to nice, decent man. I like the idea of her finally getting to the right time for her turn to walk down the aisle.

Right now I'm a huge fan of the Disney movie "Enchanted". It's such a sweet story, and has all of my favorite things mixed into it- song, dance, a love story slightly askew, and a happy ending. Squee!

The Natural is my favorite movie of all time, and it happens to be about baseball and has a romantic twist as well. I also liked Fools Rush In with Selma Hayek and Matthew Perry.
