This is something I've been wondering for a while. With Sonic going as it has been going in the past, what do you people think will happen. Personally with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog(2006) sega has a chance to bring this series back. Although it would be better if they went back to the old way of playing. Such as Sonic Adventure. So what are your opinions on where Sonic is going?

personally, i would like to see a next gen remake of the very first sonic game for the genisis. maybe a 3-d look but the same time have the 2-d element. that would expel any problems with the speed factor on the new systems. kinda like sonic rush, only a complete classic. the bosses could be 3-d enclosed arenas and the actual level could be a 2-d stage.

I've found out that Sonic has been going downhill because of the former President of SEGA of America. He was the one that said in an interview that Sonic is nothing more than a child's game, and that Sonic Heroes was the best game made. He's fired now, and I believe that Sonic will begin to come back now that he's gone. The series has it's ups and downs, but all in all, I will continue to support Sonic as I have done so since 1991. In fact, I own a Sonic website, lol.

The oldest would be the classic look from the past with the Genesis. I'm not sure what the future holds. Perhaps if I can get an idea, I'll write about it. The question is where to go with Sonic. I really think it might be trying to improve what they've done with the last game, then again never played it. Maybe Eggman won't be thought of as a late boss because some of the later games have him but not as the ultimate boss.

I see them making the franchise more toward the vein of Sonic Heroes and the Newest Sonic game. I'd like to see what was done in Sonic Adventure 1... but even more than that, I'd like to see classic speed and platform gameplay that made Sonic great.

I've been playing Sonic since i was a kid, it's been a while where SEGA has been not coming out it brand game in Sonic. Since SEGA has been taken over or merge with sony there isn't any news bout any Sonic 2008, can say it might be coming out a new style of Sonic. (I say it might be coming out)
