There is apparently a free game available on several internet video game sites that is extremely violent and graphic, and available to everyone regardless of age. You can torture a character to death. I think some people who create this stuff are just sick.

All you people say is "sick, sick, sick". All I have to say is, if you don't agree with it, don't look at it. These types of things do NOT make your children "violent". It's a violent world. Learn to live in it. Don't make simple things like video games a scapegoat for how your children behave or what other people do. Statistics do nothing to prove that gaming makes anyone violent. It is just a simple cop-out to blame things on media that you are not forced to consume. Also, this is one little link on the whole wide internet. Now how likely is it that your precious little baby is going to stumble onto this ONE link? Hmm?

So many people are playing game, they seems only like to play game and don't care of anything, any body. many adults do this, and many child also, I really don't how they are just like to playing computer game and don't feel it boring, can play it all day. Many child because play computer game are don't go to school, just find a net bar to playing. That's really a big problem to solve.

I would have to agree that a video game like that had to be created by a sick individual. But then again we can say that about the people who come up with horror movies and books too.

Hi estherlou! Yes, I have heard about those internet video game sites that are extremely violent. My brother told me about it and said that it was really kinda disturbing. He didn't play the game because he said that it is too much for him. I just hope that parents should monitor their children when they are in the internet.
Take care and God Bless!

That is absolutely sick. I hope that parents will take the responsibility to block that game, or teach their children why they should not play it, or do whatever they need to do o get the message across to their children that that kind of game is not right!!

There's a lot out there on the Internet that can be found for "free". Do a search on "free a dull games" and you'll find some stuff that you definitely would not want your child to be "playing".
And I'm sure there are also other violent games that are out there that are not suitable for children but on the same token there are sum wonderful website out there that are dedicated just for children. I believe it's up to the parents to make sure that there are child is "eight" when they are on the Internet and are not on the Internet by themselves.
If the Internet is treated as if it was the world itself, that is a very big but very helpful guideline to use on how to protect your children when surfing the Internet.
Great post
Thank you,
Zelo

My daughter never was interested in violent movies or games so I know she won't be even wanting to preview it. Stuff like this is what is making our kids violent nowadays. Not just their upbringing anymore. Granted, parents should be keeping a close eye on what kind of shows/movies they are watching and games they are playing but a parent can't be everywhere at once.

You can allow a child to play the games, as long as you beat it into their heads that doing stuff like that is wrong/not allowed.
Take me, for example. I was 3 years old, and I was playing Duke Nuke'em 3D, and Doom. Now, I'm going to grade eleven taking calculus and vectors, Physics, Chemistry, and Academic English (You might want to note that I'm Canadian
