What is the closest mall to your house?

I had a great day shopping today, even with my kiddies along. Got me to thinking how I take my malls for granted. My friend lives over an hour away from the closest mall, and it's a dinky one at that. I live within 20 minutes of 3 major shopping malls. The one I went to today (King of Prussia) is the largest mall on the East Coast. So- what is the closest mall to your house? I'm not talking little strip malls, I'm talking big enclosed malls with at least 100 stores.

I have 1 mall that is close to me that is an hour away but it only has about 30 stores inside and several outside stores. The mall with it all in Nashville is about 3hrs away. I go there only in November.

Woe, dmcollie, you live far away from a big mall. I can't even imagine it...

I think the closest mall to me is 15 minutes away. The reason I don't know is because I don't drive and must take the bus or the van service everywhere. It's enclosed but only has 20 or so stores in total, plus a food court and movie theater. It's a single floor mall. I live about 30 minutes away from a multi-floor mall, which doesn't have a movie theater. I don't go there often; I like the small mall better.

I live in Toledo, OH and there used to be 4 nice sized malls in the area. I'm not sure how many stores any of them had. 2 of them are now closed and a third has very few stores. The forth one is expanding in the near future and is less than 5 minutes from where I live. I do not go near it unless it's to go to the movies or to one of the restaurants and they can be entered from outside the mall. I do not like the crowds there or the high prices.

...Shopping at a mall is almost obsolete. I shop online for most of what I need. I work at a store on the circle around a mall and there are several shopping centers with in minutes of where I live. ...We are spoiled with too many choices. I feel for my friend in Nigeria who makes $10/month and can only afford to eat twice a day. There are many people who have less than he does, too. ...Shopping is over rated. ...Have a great day and peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della

Sorry della, I can't quite agree with you. I love to shop. I do shop online a lot but I hate buying clothes online- it's a pain not to try things on. I love my big mall. I get happy as soon as I walk in! I'm sorry about your friend in Nigeria, I juts can't relate to that and it really has nothing to do with this post. Peace.

The closest mall to me is about 45 mins. away, its Woodland Hills Mall. I don't ever go there, most of the stores are too expensive, and theres way to many people there for me. I made a mistake one time and went close to Christmas, I'll never do that again....lol. There were so many people I just about went nuts...There is one store there that I will go to and its Jcpenney, we have one in my area but its a small store and they don't have that much of a selection on anything. Thats the only reason I would go to the mall.

I live a few miles away from the closest one here and we have another one a few miles in the other direction. We got strip malls all over the place and more coming everyday, too many IMO. But they are always full and always busy so I guess they know something that don't.

The mall which is closest to me is a small one but it basically has almost everything we need. I don't walk in that mall that often though, because whenever I go on a shopping tour, I would go for the bigger ones which offer more choices. For this close mall, I only walk around it when I get really bored at the house and want to walk around and check out something.

the closet mall to me is about 30 mins away. I don't really like going there that often since it is always so crowded and there aren't that many stores there that I like.

The closest mall to me is Shortpump which is outside of Richmond Virginia. It's basically an outdoor shopping center although it's a mall setting and parts of it are indoors. It is beautiful, but I dont go there very often. It is very expensive and I dont like to spend alot of money.
