do you make friends looking at the profile picture??

I think you may be surprised that not as many people as you think ask people or add people to be on their friend's list just by their looks. Besides, their profile picture could be of anybody, it might not even be that person. I don't even look at someones avatar unless I think it might be one of my friends. The only time I go to someone's profile is to see if their discussions are of interest to me and if I can respond to them. And to see where they live because I like to have friends from all over the world, and their age. Usually their age will tell me if they would have the same interests as me, as in the really young ones, I usually can't respond to their discussions because they are kids stuff. So for me, their picture doesn't mean anything and plays no part in my decission to become friends with the person or not.

I must admit, I sometimes am attracted to someone because of their avatar...if it's pretty, or funny or interesting. Mind you, it's not always a good idea to do that and checking the profile more thoroughly is better

I do not look at the profile picture at all. You cannot judge a person just by their picture. At least that is my opinion.

Sometimes I do,but not always.This picture is cute.Most of the time I pick by interest and type.

by loooking at profile we can make friends but provided that the information at the profile is correct.otherwise it is better to make a friend after knowing that person carefully

i have to say that i add friends by no looking at his profile picture . i'm a new user and i need some friend to help me. what's more,some people don't have profile picture,like me. i don't have one because i don't know how to get it.

I do not look at the profile picture, I will read their discussions and find out their interests. I will also add them if they request it. I have tried to request friends in the interests I like (after all, I want someone to back me up when I get attacked) but I am still waiting for some. I mean it takes me a while to pick a friend if I have to do it myself.

I dont add based on their profile. I assess their discussions a few times and then base on those posts I add friends. We all need friends here, but we have to be careful. I think everyone would like to have friends here and have clean discussions. Blessings to all.

I like meeting new people. I add anybody that wants to be my friend. I really don't have a real answer here. Somebody seems nice, I add. If someone has something in common, I add. I do sometimes check out their profile, but most don't put that much there.

naw i dont even pay attention unless i find that im answering a lot of that persons convos and they have a very distinct user pic but i dont add or put in a request for a person based on looked or what their user pic is or etc.. i add everyone and i put in request for the people i think make good discussions or have a lot in common with

No, I never pick friends because of their picture, but I often think their names are interesting, and I pick them because of that. Sometimes I pick them because they have a similar view to me and I think I'd like them - and sometimes I choose them because of their sense of humour! There are lots of reasons, and lots of varied and interesting people on myLot! It's nice.

I accept anyone who wanted me to be in their friends list without checking their profile.I am very thankful and i appreciate it alot to have them as my friend.

Oh this is so true and I am ashamed of this, because is wrong just to select from the picture. Here in Mylot I accept any invitation thpugh from persons that want to be my friends, no matter what the profile pic. In fact I did not bother to put a profile pic myself....now that I am talking about it, I should go and find some nice pic of myself to put (lol).

Hi antony, No i dont make friends looking at their profil avatar, i Invite a friend when i like his or her comment. How and what way he or she thinks. Many a time when i see a avatar of a sweet natural place- i am just curious about the person and then i read the slogan line. this attract me. thats it. enjoy :)

When i 1st joined mylot, i do only make frenz with people with attractive profile picture.. BUt as time goes along, i will just add them randomly without looking at the picture.. I guess, too much of a good thing will turn one off instead.. hehe

ya,it's very important to look at people's profile b4 u agree to be their friend,that's how u can get to know them better,though some don't say the whole truth about themselves in their profile,but AS FOR ME I ALWAYS SAY OUT THE WHOLE TRUTH ,SO I ALSO BELIEVE THAT WHAT I'M READING IN PROFILE ARE TRUE UNTIL WHEN THE PERSON PROVE OTHERWISE.
