I'm sure there are those who would answer that they have no regrets since they are happy with their lives now. But come to think of it, life doesn't go perfectly. There are ups and downs. And sometimes, we make good or bad decisions that greatly affect the flow of our lives. No matter how small it is, we all probably have regrets. A big one or something insignificant.
Right now, my greatest regret is that, I should have studied harder, and put in some more effort. I knew I could do better but because of certain mishaps and painful experiences, I failed to be as strong as I wanted and led me to forsake my studies at some point in time. That was a few years ago. But I'm actually over that stage now, and I'm working hard again. If I had only taken things seriously back then, I would definitely achieve something good when I graduate. I knew I could do better. So at this point, I'm letting go of my "what if's" and "if only"... I'll do my best until I graduate, this is my last year. There's no use mourning about the past, what matters is the present and how it would affect the future.
How about you, what is your greatest regret?

I think in a way my first marriage would be my greatest regret. He was abusive towards me mentally and physically. The only good thing that came from him was the three children.
He didn't even care about them which is sad.
I have a good man now and we have been together for a long time. He has been a great father to the children. If I had only met the man I'm with many more years ago then I believe we would have gotten together then.
I and my children and my husband are very happy now.

Thank you selece. This is exactly how I feel about you. You deserve to be happy and you will find that right person to be happy with. Just go on with your studies and make your life how you want it and dream it to be. A person will come along that you'll want to share your happiness with.

That I didn't get my formal college education sooner, but its worked out where I had a better time doing it later in life.

Not fulfilling my dream of becoming a doctor... If I just took the NMAT exam and went to a medical school... I might have been a resident doctor at this very moment because it's almost 5 year ago since I graduated from nursing and only 4 years for me to finish the medicine proper. SIGH... but I can still be... maybe someday

My greatest regret in my life was, I should have finished my course in college. If I had finished it I am a Dentist now. I would have made my parents proud. But what can I do? I don't really like the course, I wanted to be a lawyer since I was young.

Yes, it's hard to go on with our studies if we don't like the course. Especially if someone forces us to do so. But education is still education and I guess, our parents just want the best for us. I'm happy with my course and I hope to finish it soon. It's not too late is it? You can probably continue your studies someday. God bless!

The way things turned out with my daughter when me and my husband got a divorce. If I had only known how hard it would have been for her and what it would have been like. I know I would have been miserable because I love my husband and life, but maybe my biggest regret was ever getting involved with him and marrying him.
