I Thought I was Superwoman

Feeling as if I had to be a superwoman who didn't need a rest, surfing the net take a toll on my health. Two days ago I surf the net the whole day and had a break only when I cook and had my meal. I went to bed at about 2pm and finding I couldn't get to sleep I restart the computer and continue surfing till 6pm. My eyelids become heavy and the words in the screen starts to blur, thats when I surrender. Today I went for my regular medical check up for blood pressure and was shock that my blood pressure was very high. I was given extra medication and advised to take a good rest. What is your longest time surfing the internet?

Health is important. When we are not well we will not be able to surf the net, might as well limit the surfing time.

Oh my, that's bad. I'm on the internet on an average of about 8 - 10 hours a day but I do take rests in between and do other things. Some experts say that when You've been looking at the screen for so long you should stare at a blank wall for about 10 minutes to relax your eyes. Another piece of advice is, do not wet your face at once after being in front the computer for so long. This may cause paralysis. I've proven this as my cousin had experienced this a few years back.

Thats good . Some times also dream about me and think there that I am some superman . I have some extra ordinary quality to do so many extraordinary things . Those are really a another type of feelings . when I wake up from that type of dream then I try to sleep again and go there in that dream ... Nice ...

The longest I've done was 8 hours. And spending an extra hour more, will literally make me feel a little ill. My eyes are the first ones to feel the strain, then my lower back, for sitting for so long. Then, I start to get a little headache. If I still try to spend more time surfing, that little headache will turn into a horrible, nauseating headache. That's why, I make it a point to just spend 2 hours surfing. Then, I take a rest after that by doing some chores and taking care of my son. I don't make a habit anymore of spending long, consecutive hours infront of the computer.

The glare of the computer affects our eyes. It will cause dizziness if one sits in front of the computer for a long stretch time.

Superwomen and men wear there undepants outside,if you are wearing that then you are the super women too just kidding.surfing a net is the good thing but not 24x7.Even you use system for one hour take 5 mins break and while watching monitor blink your eyes every now and then it will give some relax to the eyes. Dont sit infront of your computer much roam with your friends visit malls do shopping ,hangout with friends.take care of your health

I do this quite often but then I find the internet to be very relaxing, maybe your blood pressure was so high for other reasons, there are many reasons that can cause high blood pressure.

Yes, I agree with you that it not only relaxing but it is also addictive. The high blood stems from my lack of rest and lack of sleep.

You are work too hard. Your body and brain needs to rest you can't force it and fatal consequence. Healthy is expensive but if you sick is more expensive.

14 hours straight is no joke. A normal employee works only 8 hours a day.
