I like watercolors. Soft colors, and harder to paint with. www.mgcreativearts.com

It depends on the artist and the motive. Of my own paintings I prefer the oil paintings but the one painting I really want to own is watercolour.

oil painting - I prefer oil painting
I lkie oil paints. Water colors are also good. But, when you use the oil paints it gives an extra shine and glow to a painting. The range of colors available in oil painting is more than that of water painting. Using a water color we cannot even get that much depth as we can get using oil colors.

If you dry paint, you can get great colors with the watercolors.

Warrior Woman - A female warrior by Luis Royo
I'm not really sure because I don't paint. I have a favorite artist, but I'm not really sure what he uses. I have enclosed a picture by him. His name is Luis Royo.

I cannot make out the medium. But, if you look him up on the net, I'm sure it will tell you about him.

I prefer pencil or acrylic. Depending on how I am feeling and the subject I guess. have never been comfortable with either water colours or oils. Strange?
