And if so does she live with you or is she married and staying far away from you. How is your relationship with her now? I have two sisters and both of them are married. We hardly get a chance to meet each other. I think just a couple of times a year or so. But we talk to each other on the phone very often. How do you communicate with your sister and how often?

Hey mayka, yes I have one and only sister. we are 6 kids in our family. my sister is married with two sons. we talk daily, hourly and every minute- this is becuase we work in the same office and we sit a few meters from each other. I love her soo much and I even babysit her sons when I was jobless until they grew big. She loves me the same way and cant give me away for anything under the sun.

I have 2 blood sisters, one is older than me by 3 years, and is not married, and lives upstairs from us (me, my dad and grandmother), and the other blood sister is only 8 years old, and she lives close to my mother who lives in London Ontario (my mother has temporary custody of her and my little brother who is 10). I talk to my older sister every day and we hang out alot too. My little sister I don't talk to as much. I also have good friends that I consider to be my sisters befcause I am very close to them

I do not have any siblings, it was a wonder I was even born as my mom was said never to be able to have children. Some way or another she got pregnant with me even though her uterus (?) was sick. I'm pretty healthy so I'm not complaining, but doctors warned the chances were huge the next kid would have multiple handicaps and a slight chance to have a happy live as it would be totally dependable even when grown up. My parents decided not to try and have kids again.
My family is a foster family though and we have had kids around the house for a couple of months upto two years who couldn't live at home. I have had 2 sisters and three brothers so far of which 2 are still here aged 2 and allmost 4.
The youngest came to us when he was 13 days old and will most likely stay here till he's 18 or whenever he feels like moving out; no rush .
Both his parents are mentally handicapped and there is no way he's moving back.
The other boy will not be with us much longer and will go into psychiatric child care, he's very much damaged... .
So yes, I have had a girl living here that felt pretty much like my sister for allmost two years. She went back home and I never heard from her again as her mother forbids it. I have talked to her on messenger two times when she sneaked online at her older sisters home but they found out and now we can't talk anymore. It's really sad because I loved that girl as if she were family, basicly, she still is in my opinion. She's in my heart.

It's true we can't force ourselves onto someone but this girl wants to stay in contact, it's merely that her mom forbids her too. I can only try and respect that but it's still very hard. Happy posting!

So you are a miracle baby for your parents. Its good you are in good health and enjoy looking after the handicapped children around you. Its sad when we get attached to someone and they just stop communicating with us. But then you cant force yourself on anyone and life has to go on. Have a nice day and happy posting.

My sister is not with me right now. She's in NY and I'm in Phils. She use to be my reference person. That's why even if we are oceans apart, I didn't lose my goal in life. Everytime I see her successful, it makes me feel following her footsteps. Right now, I'm a nurse. I don't like to be a nurse, but when I see my sister enjoying the life of being a nurse, I will always be contented on being a nurse, but it doesn't necessarily mean that I will not pursue what I want in my life. I miss my sister. She'll be coming home this 2009.. I am very excited at last, i will hug her again!

I have a beautiful twin sister and I miss her dearly. She lives in New Zealand and I live in the USA but we keep in contact regularly, well I do but she's a little slow when it comes to technology haha. We are very close and hardly even argue. She is happily married with four kids, who I also miss a lot too.

hello, i have 2 sisters and they live near our house so we're always together. We all have our own families now but that was never a hindrance for us on having our bonding moments, we still eat together and sometimes we drink with our cousins. Happy mylotting, cheers!

I have a sister, but we live about 1,500 miles apart. Once we were adults we didn't really see alot of each other? I was in the military, then we lived apart in miles. But truely, she was a hitter and not real noce to me even when we were kids, so it is better this way.
I do love her and wish her good health and a happy life. but we do better miles apart. And no..we haven't talked in years. If she needed help, I woudl help. (Like, if she were sick.) But we did not like each other as kids and as adults it is OK now (I have made peace with this) we will probably not have a relationship as adults. How can you have a relationship wiht a person that has mean to you from birth..or that is negative and you cannot trust? Family or not, nope. I doubt we have anything to talk about.
(I was born when she was 4 nd the first thing she said was "Throw her in the garbage." It has not gotten better for her. She never ..even form birth, wanted me around. -I did not stand a chance, I think?)

I dunno how to respond to this. Its bad that brothers and sisters feel this way about each other. But I think my brother felt the same about me. I was adopted by my uncle and I got all the love and attention that I needed there. So did not miss out on brothers or sisters love and affection.
