I hope I am sporting a hangover on your birthday, which by the way is the big 40 so happy birthday to you.
The reason for my hagover is that my birthday is on 24th Nov and I will be 42, thankfully I was a month premature otherwise I would have been been on christmas eve and who wants that.....only one lot of presents LOL
Oh and bye the way, a belated Happy Birthday to wrcurtisjr :)

My daughter's birthday is September 14th. Her full name is Kayla Raine Curtis. Her middle name ended up fitting. The next few days it rained and rained. I call her rainbow sometimes, and she seems to love it. She is now 8 years old.

Happy Belated Birthday!
My dad (who passed away on February 2, 2004) was born on November 5, 1917, and I was born on December 12, 1952.
One thing my folks and I have loved doing is to go to a place called The Kopper Kettle in Morristown, Indiana (about 25 or 30 miles from where we live) and have the lunch special followed by the presentation of a sundae with a candle in it and the Happy Birthday song.
It was also a great place for me to take my folks for their February 8 wedding anniversary where I would order a cake ahead of time.
Most times, we celebrated our birthdays separately, but, if we didn't get the chance to do that, we would celebrate them together.
The picture I'm sharing is one of those times when my dad and I both were celebrating.
I'm blowing out the candle atop my sundae.
