Do you have a cat?

I love cats. In fact they're my favorite domesticated animal^_^. Why? hmm... Well, I like them because they have the "cute" look about them. they have those huge, shiny eyes, especially kittens=D. they're furry, and I love them for it=P I love their meows=] heheh and hmmm, I don't really know more to say. I just feel drawn to them. hm, I guess I forgot to mention, but they're intelligent.=\ thats another reason I guess, but vice versa to you=] I'm glad you respect animals enough to not hurt them though=]. ha ha thats funny even though i love cats. They look at you as though they want to scratch your face? Maybe they know that you dont like them....Lol Cats are lovely beings they are fiercely independant and come to you only rarely when they want a cuddle. They keep themselves clean and are very playful. I love cats because of their feline nature.

i have a cat. he is cute and sweet and soft and cuddly. animals r like babies to me, but easier than human babies. animal are fun to be around because they do funny things and warm up a room...

I love cats because they are intellegent. A person doesn't own a cat - a cat decides to put up with a person. They are so independent. I have 2 to keep each other company. I can leave them alone with food for a couple of days - unlike a dog. Also, they are so playful and fun to interact with.

Im not a cat person too. I prefer dogs to cats because cats are very stubborn, as if they have their own minds, they never listene unlike dogs. Also cat furs are not good for person with allergies.

I do not like cats although my mom has two cats and my dad has two cats. My dad's cats are very cute, one is a bit of a mischeif but she is SO CUTE, and the other, well she is just super shy and never ever see her much. My mom's cats are disgusting, one is a big old brut dirty all the time, and he can be really mean sometimes if he is moody. He has some issues and he had attacked me one time in front of my daughter it was really scary. I was glad that he attacked me and not my 4 year old daughter but it was scary because he just grabbed my elbow bit as hard as he could and was scratching with his back feet, My daughter cried and I did not but it did hurt and was scary. We all were in shock by the attack but it makes me think well if he could do that to me by just me walking by him how could he not do that to one of my children. the other cat is just stinky and older and although sweeter is just as nasty at times. We are dog lovers and hopefully in a few years we will get a dog.

i am not a cat lover as well and i'm really scared of their eyes and the way they look at me like you... i prefer dog much better than cat... i used to have a dog as a pet before but never a cat... and i think that dogs are friendlier than cats to humans because they are man's best friends... i might be wrong and i am sorry to those cat lovers out there as well... this is only my opinion though... take care and have a nice day...

I used to hate them, really, until I met a lonely one on the street. It was meowing so badly that I could not let it out there in the street. Since then it's one of my best friends and is definitely the best listener ever ! :)

Hey, i too hate cats. They are very creepy. My friend has a cat and a dog at home!!! i cant understand how can he like them, they are pretty iricksome and irritating. I hate it when a cat stands still on its toes (?) with hairs straight. It doesnt look good at all..

I'm not a cat lover not because of there physical appearance but there awful smell I'm not saying that all kind of cats has a bad odor.

I have one cat right now, but over the years have had several. Cats, to me are peaceful. They walk around all over the place and never really make a sound. Our Family cat now "snickers" curls up on the bed next to me and when she purrs it is calming to me. I do see your point also. A neighbor of mine had a cat one time that would let you pet him for a few minutes and then all of a sudden he would smack you with his paw. But I just enjoy their company. I also have a dog and a rabbit. Have you ever taken the time to play with a kitten and seen if you could like one. They are very funny. A great stress release at the end of the day. They love unconditionally.

Yes I used to have a Lovely cat which used to sleep beside me and play with me all the day. I miss her so much. she lost somewhere , she just ran away from home and I never found it again.

My husband and I both really love ats. As for the friends image, it could be two rattle snakes together, or all I care. The point is about communication and interaction, and tat the concept of friends stretches to all species, whether one likes the animal or not.

Other than a few short lived goldfish,We never had pets growing up..My significant other is a Cat Person,maybe She was part of the attraction,but this little brown scrap of a kitten turned up on the doorstep a few years ago now,and moved in! He's been here ever since.. If Sleeping was an Olympic Event,He'd be a Gold Medalist..He'll fall asleep on my lap,on the couch,on the bed,and He tries to Purr Me to sleep.He makes a great alarm clock too..He'll keep me company,doesn't need much fusssing over him,Just a regular supply of kitty chow and water,and the odd treat..He'll come to greet me when I get home from work,recognising the car as it pulls up..It's nice to be welcomed home! btw..check out my post on kittens and baby pictures!

I love all kinds of cats including tigers,lions,and house cats of course.Well,I like cats because they're sweet,affectionate,intelligent,and brave.I used to have a cat but he got lost and was never found.How I miss him!Anyway,I think it also has something to do with my name and zodiac sign.My name is Kathleen (Kat for short) and my zodiac sign is Leo(a lion is a cat too and my lucky stones are ruby and cat's eye)

I like cat so much that I always employ cats as my pictures. However, my cat was stupic. No matter how well I treat her, she would also scratch me. However, I have never scratched her. It is unfair.

I have 4 cats. They are the most loving animals. One of my cats curls up in my lap and purrs and purrs. She sleeps with me every night and purrs me to sleep. Another shares my roommate's ice cream; she loves anything dairy -- sour cream, ice cream, milk. I love my cats very much, but there are many people who dislike them. Just like I dislike dogs. I don't hate them or fear them, just prefer my kitties.

I'm sorry you don't like cats, because I think you are really missing out on a great experience. But, some people just don't understand them or care for them. We are all unique right? I am an animal lover - all kinds. I am especially connected to cats. I have been all my life. I have 7 of my own and I feed the neighborhood strays also. The only kind of cat I do not get along with is Siamese cats. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I just don't deal well with that breed. For me its the intelligence in their eyes that draws me. I love dogs too, don't get me wrong. I even have three dogs of my own. But dogs just often have a dumb look in their eyes, where as a cat can seem so very smart. You are right that they often seem like they can see into your soul. My cat Jade is very mystical that way. She and I often stare into each others eyes. She usually then nudges me with her head, which is the cats way of greeting, and then will purr which tells me ok, you can pet me anytime now. I even have luck with strays. They understand body language, attitudes and they pick up on these things. Several of the strays I feed now let me pet them. I think this bond is something we are born with, because I was this way even as a very small child. Mom even had a picture of me at the age of two, sound asleep on the porch rug with the neighborhood stray curled up next to me. Or, maybe its because I'm a Leo. LOL Who knows?
