Oh you poor thing, it must be hard but keep the hope as they can do a lot these days with medications and such for stroke victims, they say the people who suffer a stroke and survive it are the lucky ones as they at least got a warning as some don't...think positive, your mum is lucky to have such a good daughter...

The greatest thing to do is to make sure that your mother knows exactly how you feel. You can't change the physical pain she is in but you can definately lift her spirits for her.
Maybe do something out of the ordinary... send her flowers or something that she really likes. Even a simple card that says 'I Love You' goes so far to making someone feel better.
Thanks and prayers for your mom

I am so sorry to hear what happened to you mom. Maybe you can take a short leave from work and school to you can see what you can do for her. I once had an experience like this when my mother who was in the north got sick. I took a leave so I can take care of her. But sad to say, my mom already passed away. I hope your mom gets better now...

I'm so sorry. That is awful. To have her sick is bad enough, but to not be with her must be agony. Who is with her now? Is the rest of your family watching over her? Maybe even if she can't talk, someone can hold the phone to her ear and she can hear you speak, even if she cannot respond.
