Hello,my friends.Here is a question for you:
Do you want to be a VIP or a common person?
I know most of us are commom ones,we go to work early in the moring,go home in the evening,we have a small family, there are our relatives. But some want to be a VIP,they admire their great income, their high status, their beautiful houses and luxury cars...
But being a VIP is also difficult, they should pay more energy and time in public,or work hardest, and attentioned by everyone, evaluated by everyone, the stress is big.
So how about your choice? Show your view, sincerely.

I think each one of us can be a VIP in our own little worlds - to our family and friends and neighbors. If you're speaking of having more money, I'm sure most of us would like to have more. But money doesn't buy real happiness. Sure, it helps us be more comfortable, but if you follow lots of rich people around, you'll discover that they're as unhappy (maybe moreso) than persons with average income or below.
Prestige can be something that you acquire without great wealth. If you give of yourself and of your time to help others, you'll become known.

I never wanted to become a VIP.As yo can see I'm from India and here in India, being a VIP means vulgar display of power and wealth and normally both wealth and power are earned through wrongful means only.
In fact, I don't know about the persons from other countries, but I hate VIPs here in India because they are the cause of discomfort to general public and normally don't do even a single work for public good. In fact, our society could have been far better without these so called VIPs.

I would definately want to be a VIP, as long as I had worked for my position though I would not just like to walk into it. I feel that it would be more appreciated if I had actually worked to be a VIP.

as I am a basically shy person I am happy to be a common'
ordinary person, not in the limelight but happy to be myself
and do my own things. a person who is VIP is always on
beck and call to the public and has litle privacy. not
for me thank you, I am a very private person content with
my own little world, happy to be me, common ordinary me.

I want to have the thought of a common person, which will make me stay still at the current situation and not envy of others' luxrious life. But so far as i haven't got this state of mind, i'd want to be a VIP, the internal mind pushes me to strive for the best, to attract others' attention and live better off. Actually i don't think this kind of life is perfect, there are still lots of problems that others can't understand i think. I do wish that i can live comfortablly in the current and never dream of paradise, easily satisfied and enjoy life. Thanks

I like being a VIP to certain people, but I guess that is basically being a big fish in a little pond. It is also important to know what pond you want to be in. There are a lot of ponds I wouldn't want to dip my toe in.
Fame is not appealing to me, but I still like recognition for certain things. I like my life to be important, not public. Fortune is more important than fame and respect is more important than fortune.
I suppose it is important to know what you need to make you happy.

Dear Ifglan, I'd rather be a commoner. I don't have to worry about my safety. I can go anywhere I want, without bodyguards or escorts; my life is my own. And should I do anything wrong, no one is going to be interested in me...
Just imagine the life of a VIP - you worry whether you'd be kidnapped or killed, you have to go everywhere with bodyguard, have to behave yourself...you don't have a personal life at all.

I'm quite content being common. I don't think I would care to have that much responsibility on my shoulders but if something happened and I gained that much responsibility I would try my best on to let it go to my head.

For me, I am a little satisfied with my current status. Just improving my English, but, even I master English, I am still a common guy.
In this world, most of people is common, So, first, we need to learn to be common. Treat things with normal sense. Treat ourselves with normal sense. But, if one day, we become WIP, just try our best to fulfill our responsibility.

I would rather be a commoner than a VIP. Who wants all that stress when the more simple things in life provide so much joy.
I don't have a lot of money to spare, but being forced into saving for the non essentials means I appreciate and respect what I have better.
Having everything brings no happiness, especially when you are so stressed from all the work you can't enjoy them.
I would love to live on a fairly reasonable sized hobby farm and grow as much of my food as I could. Just as long as I have internet connection though, because that is one luxury that is a must for me! My link to the world is my computer!!!!!

ughh..i dont like being VIP.,coz by that you're not been able to live freely.act freely..It's just that you cant have your privacy in everything..There could also be the times you're always guarded by some people they asked to be qith you everywhere you go..danG!!see how hard it is.?!haha..im glad im not like that!being a normal person is better than that!
