Do you prefer hot weather or cold weather? I have arthritus and tendonitus. My body does not like cold weather.I do not like it too hot either.I'd rather it be hot and turn on the fan or air conditioner if it is too humid or hot.I find it easier to cool off then get warm.If it is cold and I turn the heat on high enough for my body to get warm, then it bother's my breathing.

I love hot weather. I do not like the cold, although I prefer it cool when I go to bed, but that is the only reason. I hate shoveling snow and walking in it. I did get my foot almost frozen because my boots were not insulted properly and now I have these funny looking toe nails. I also had my ears frozen even though I had something on my head, so now I have very sensitive ears that cannot even stand a little cold.
My husband loves the cold. When we had to move to Winnipeg, as soon as he learned that he could get overtime and more money fixing the engines, he always wanted a blizzard, but I could not stand it.
I have always loved it warm and when we used to live in the Vancouver area, wished where we lived it would be always summer.

Walking in the snow! Not!
Driving in the snow! Not!
That is too bad about your foot and ears. You sound like you are just plain sensative to cold.
I live in Virginia. We used to get a lot of snow here. Now it is rare. But,when we do get it..... boy,oh boy,we get it!! I know older people around here that's houses are paid for and they have bought a condo or something small in Florida. When October comes they move down there and stay till April.

I used to live in Vancouver and when it snowed, it was slippery, and when we moved to the Prairies, even though everyone here went out in the snow (in their shorts and tee shirts ha ha ) I was looking for the warmest I could wear. I am sensitive to colds.
Oh and thanks for the best response.

I have to agree with you. I can tolerate the heat a lot better than I can tolerate being cold. I know some people are the opposite of this. But give me warmth any day over being cold.

I prefer hot weather, but because I live in Utah I have grown to deal with both hot and frigid weather.
The cold just makes everything feel so dark and sad, while the summer really brings people out and is full of fun activities to help people cool off.

I prefer warmer weather too, I feel the cold so quickly for some reason. It all seems to have started when I lost all my weight, since then I get cold really quick. I like it when it is just nice warm, not uncomfortable hot but there is never that inbetween it is either roasting hot or freezing cold.

I personally like it about 72 degrees F with no humidity.
I love thunderstorms and rain, but my rheumatoid arthritis really hurts when the rains come. I can't stand when it is humid and hot. I just don't seem to function very well. I'm slow to do things and really don't feel like doing anything at all but sit around.
I do like snow and cold, up to a point. Once we are into winter about 3 months I'm ready for spring. LOL
Have a great day!
Char

Unfortunately I don't like any temperature extreme. When I lived up north my doctors kept telling me to move south for my health and joint pain. Now that I'm in the south winters are easy for me. BUT, I suffer in the summers now instead. I have asthma with COPD and just can't breathe well when it gets this hot and humid. Seems I can't win. LOL

I would love to see the weather stay around 70. I'm a cold natured person and really have to wrap up when it's winter. Also, it is too hot right now and that bothers me, so I keep the air conditioner turned low too much for my husband unless he comes in from work really tired and hot. Then when he gets cooled off, he has to throw a blanket over him.

friend i njoy the nature first of all things in the world.so i dont differentiate hot weather with cold weather because we cannot njoy the coldness with out hotness and at the same time we cannot njoy haotness with out coldness. So i think we should see all the things and we should njoy every part of our nature.
so, i think i'm right to my opinion.

I like a moderate temperature i.e neither too hot nor too cold. But if the option of hot or cold temperature is give to me, I shall pick for cold temperature. I love the feel of warmness in front of a fire sticks. I hate hot temperature where the hot blazing sunshines Tann my skin.

i also prefer cold weather. i think there are ways to make us warmer in cold weather, even if there are power-off. we just keep more clothes for us then that is ok. but in hot weather, there is nothing to do if power is off without air-conditioner or electric fan.
also in summer, my shirt is always wet since i am always sweating if it is too hot.

I actually prefer cold weather, because it is easier to get around and you don't get so hot when it is winter.
