I was pretty worried because we had to rush our mom to the hospital last night. She had such a high blood pressure and severe headache. We just got home now, she got discharged this afternoon. I am a bit sleepless now because I watched over her. I am very much concerned about my mother's health since we almost lost her once. She's been in the brink of death before when her kidneys collapsed, she spent a week or more inside the ICU. It was a miracle that she survived and I'm very thankful for that. But we are carefully watching over her since she has diabetes and prone to infection. I lost my father due to lung cancer, my mom and my younger sister are all I have in the family now.
Please help me pray to keep my mother healthy at all times. I really love her so much. From the time that I was born and for as long as I live, I'll love and cherish her. Prayers are really strong, so please include this little request of mine. She's resting now, I'm glad she's okay.

Hello selece!
High Blood pressure, severe headache, diebetic, kidney failure. . . these are body reactions when there is poor blood circulation in the nerves. The pressure became high because the heart must beat so much to distribute a low supply of blood. Low blood supply means low blood oxygen, that's why severe headache occured. Low supply of blood endangers other vital organs. Just imagine there is less supply of water on earth. . some trees, plants and grasses will wither. . animals and man will be endangered too.
So, she must take fresh and natural food so that she can regain her natural body.

Hello selece...I pray that your mother is resting comfortably, and I pray that the Lord will keep her healthy, and take away whatever is going on right now. I know what you mean by cherishing and loving your mother. I feel the same way about mine, a few years ago she had a light stroke, it really scared us. I didn't know what to expect when I got to the hospital. But she had been complaining of headaches for a few days before that, and she has high-blood pressure too. I guess thats when it was starting. But I know if something ever happened to her it would be devastating for our family, because she's our rock, she's the one that keeps us together. She's doing fine now, she got over her stroke, but I still keep a close eye on her, and make sure she's taking care of herself. But you need to really keep your eye on her, if she keeps having headaches, keep taking her to the doctor. I don't want to scare you, but like I said my mom went thru the same thing...God Bless

I hope everything is ok. I know health issues can be hard to deal with, especially with a loved one. Hang ion their and be strong. It is important that you help her stay on track with what the hospital/ doc. have layed out as a treatment plan. Some patients follow at home treatments and medications for a short while but get off track and that is when they get in trouble. But, good luck with everything!!!
You and your loved ones are in my families prayers!!

Get "mom" a good blood pressure cuff to have at home and keep an eye on that. With monitoring and the proper medicine, she'll do well!
If she is a littel overweight, help her walk, (go with her,) garden, etc..anything to help her exercise and eat well and avoid salt, etc..that will help!
My best to you! Prayers are great. But changing eating and exercise patterns is more practical!

Hie Selece, I am sorry to hear about your mum and happy to hear she is alright now. Hope you are coping & doing well too. I am sure she will have a speedy recovery with you by her side and being strong & caring for her
Do try to get a device to monitor her blood sugar and blood pressure, keep a record as this will help you to monitor her health status better. And do take care of yourself and I know it must be hard for you being the head of the family but I believe you will be fine
Best wishes and keep staying strong for her.

Now I know why I missed your presense here... I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT. Of course even without you asking... I WILL BE PRAYING FOR HER EARLY RECOVERY AND CONTINUOUS HEALTH. I understand you brother... because that is HOW MUCH I LOVE MY MOM AS WELL! She is THE BESTEST (forgive me for using that, I mean BEST AMONG THE BEST) WOMAN a man can ever have... WHICH IS OUR MOM! I was rushed in the hospital this morning too due to an ALLERGIC reaction with the coffee that I HAVE DRUNK... My whole body was swelling and even my face as well. GUESS WHO BROUGHT ME TO THE HOSPITAL... MY REALLY CONCERN and LOVING MOM! We do owe a lot from our mothers. and EVEN OUR LIFE CAN BE MADE AS AN OFFER just for them TO LIVE INSTEAD OF US. Life for me would be useless without her... that's why I would rather choose to DIE just for my MOM to continue LIVING HER LIFE. Oh my friend, just by the thought of losing someone important makes me CRY... Especially if that someone is more important than my own life. GOD BLESS YOUR MOM, MY MOM, YOUR SISTER, MY SISTER and all of our loveones too. If you any question about her condition...(Your friend NURSE will always be hear for you and your mom) free of charge!...
by the way, pls always, be cautious with her food (because she is diabetic as you have told us) remove anything that can stress her and make her blood pressure rise and always BE THERE FOR HER... A SON LIKE YOU WOULD BE THE BEST REMEDY FOR A MOM LIKE HER!

Hey there brother! It's okay. And yes, I do know how you feel, I've been rushed to the hospital by my mom and dad for quite a number of times before. They care about me so much and I feel the same way for them. It's really sad and hard to lose someone in our lives, so I have to take care of my loved ones. Umm, yes, I am monitoring the food she eats. Sometimes she wants to eat something that is not good for her but we talk her out of it. We also don't let her eat anything that is very sweet or high in cholesterol. I will also take your advice. Thank you so much! God bless!

I also have lost my father so I understand where you are coming from. I hope that your mother can control her high blood pressure and other health problems. I know that my husband worries about his blood pressure because every one on his moms' side of the family has problems with it. I am sure that you worry a lot too which will cause your blood pressure to increase too.
My prayers are with you and your family and I just said a prayer for your mom. God is great and He can do miracles!!

Hi. First of all your mother and your family are now in my prayers. Now I don't want to scare you but your mother should get (if she hasn't already had) a full check up that involves the brain. I have severe high blood pressure, and for one while was experiencing severe headaches. I end up having a burst aneuyrism. I was in the hospital for awhile and my children were small at the time. Hopefully she is taking care of herself and all these health problems are out of her control. If not tell her how worried you are about her and (she knows) but tell her anyway how she is basically all you and your sibling have and she needs to take better care of herself (if this is the case). I'm glad she's okay, but don't stop praying.

Last year, my mother was also rushed to the hospital with the same reason; high blood pressure and severe headache. It was early in the morning and good thing I haven't go the office yet. Me and my bro brought her in the hospital and stayed their for almost 3 days. I asked my bro to stay there when I am in the office. Its very hard working if you are thinking about your mother that was in the hospital, I can't concentrate. Now, my mother is getting well but sometimes she still wants to lie on the bed of the emergency room. That's why I provide her anything she needs in her medication to get her good health back. I don't want to lose another parent.
I'm glad your mother is okay now. I'll include her in my prayers.

You are a good son. Everybody who read your writing will agree with me. I pray and I hope my son will have the same caring heart like you. Most moms when they are old, will have many sickness. Some even bedridden. When they are in this situation, they can only depend on their children who will take care of them. However most children nowadays would leave their mother in old folks home, let the caretaker look after their mother. They wolud rather pay large amount of money then to bath and nurse their sick mother. I am a mother of three children. I do not know what my life would be when I am sick and unable to look after myself. Keep up the good work, selece...

Thank you for your kind words. And I'm glad good people like you see me this way. Thank you so much! You are right, some tend to do such things, those with no sense of compassion and those who fail to show their love because of ignorance or negligence. I could never do that, and I hope when I get kids of my own they would treat me well. Thank you so much! God bless!
