Milk in your Tea?

I couldn't find the topic heading for tea, so I'll broaden my question. Do you start or end your day with a cup of tea? Hot or Cold? What about adding milk and sugar?
I normally end my day with a cup hot black breakfast tea. Though it's for breakfast, it helps me relax in the evening, and helps me sleep better. I do add a bit of sugar and milk to my tea, and it makes it delicious.
What about you?

Warm tea, I normally add milk to it, but cold tea I don't sugar is enough for me.

I'm also a big milk drinker, but sometimes I just need something else. In my house hold, we go through a gallon and a half of milk each day. lol.

That's so funny you mention it.
The other night I drank black tea
with honey and went to sleep
for an hour. Then I was awake
for a few hours.
Not sure why the tea would
put me to sleep, though.

Maybe it was just what you needed to hit the spot, and a nap was just to top it off. Sort of like having hot chocolate in the evenings.

I dont drink tea no, well actually that is a lie. I do drink tea, but only when I run out of coffee. I start my day with coffee and end my day with coffee. I drink loads of the stuff and I know it is no good for me but I love it and cannot help myself!

Never used to touch coffee you know, it is only in the last couple of years or so. As for the energy drinks, the only time I have those is when I go out for a night out and I have them then!

My mom drinks ridiculous amounts of coffee during the day. She drinks a cup in the morning, and then fills up her travel cup. I guess you can fit 2 cups in it. Then she gets more at work. And between her and my dad in the evenings, they go through 3 pots. Some people just love coffee, lol. It could be a lot worse. At least you're not downing those energy drinks constantly like some people do.

I don't drink it every night, but it's a good way to end my day. I drink a lot of water during the day, but it's nice to have a hot cup of tea and cuddle up with a good book. = )

I start and end my day with the same liquid, hot coffee with sugar
I rarely ever drink tea, as it just doesn't have the caffeine kick my body wants. My wife drinks tea though, she likes something called Sleepy Time. She doesn't add anything to it though.

I love Sleepy Time tea. lol, it's actually really really good. I add a little bit of sugar to that, and normally drink it cold. It's a type of green tea that helps you sleep at night. Yummy.

I like have a cup before I go to bed. I like to think of it as a stress reliever and just a moment to relax. My day is so hectic, and if I take 5 minutes before I go to bed to do something quiet and relaxing it helps me sleep better.

I usually don't drink either in the mornings. I can't stand having anything in my tea sometimes except maybe honey and that's rare. I do enjoy a good cup of tea in the afternoon sometimes. And only if it's a mint tea, chamomile, stress tea, or Egyptian Licorice.

For a long time, I wouldn't touch hot tea. I love iced tea though. It's just at night that I like to have a cup, or even first thing in the morning. Just have a craving for it every once in a while.

i am a lover of tea. and in my place i am used to tea with milk. though sometimes i take black tea but milk tea is my favorite , because with addition of tea the taste becomes very good . the proportion of milk should be more than water , then the taste is at its best. normally in a day i drink thrice or whenever i need to relax.

Tea is a great way to relax. I normally drink a hot black tea, but most of it isn't milk. Milk tea is really good too. There's this tea place I go to that has honeydew milk tea with tapioca balls, and it's delicious.

I wish I liked coffee, but I just can't get over the biterness, so I guess I'll stay with tea until I find a type I like.

I used to drink lots of tea, both hot and cold. I used to put a teaspoon of sugar in mine with a little cream. But now, I only put a dab of sugar with the cream. But I mostly drink water anymore.
Now, my mother could not go a day without her hot tea. She used no sugar, and just creamora. She says sugar in hot tea just ruins it. And, when she drinks cold tea, she doesn't want it real sweet, either.

I like it to be a little sweet, but you can easily overdue the sweetness if you're not too careful. I don't drink tea everyday, and am normally a water, milk, and juice drinker. Though I like to have a little bit of caffeine when I do my homework. So I'll have a 20 oz Coca Cola that will take me days to finish.

The tea I drink is decaffinated, so it doesn't give you any extra energy. It's just healthy to drink. It's just better to have that than soda pop, or any of those energy drinks.

I don't tea that much for unknown reason, I have never tried it with milk or anything like that, When I did drink it was plain just hot tea... Maybe I will try it one time with milk and some sugar and see how that taste if I like it of course I'll keep drinking it if not than i know it's not for me..

I drink my cuppa tea with a bit of sugar, but no milk. I like cream and sugar with coffee.

Breakfast tea is a favorite tea of mine too, although my all time favorite is vanilla, a hard to find tea.

The tea drink is decaffinated, so that way there's no extra bust of energy before I'm ready to go to bed.

I rarely have tea these days except at my mum's. I like my tea strong with just a splash of milk and no sugar. Too weak or too much milk and it tastes like 'pot-wash'.I usually start the day with water, drink mainly juice, water or squash during the day & then have a cup of decaff as i get in from work. I like a nice frothy cappucino in the evening.

Normally, I do drink milk, juice and water. I make my own tea, and it's a rare occassion if I ever get it while I am out somewhere. It never tastes right. I wish I like the cappucino's and the coffee flavor drinks, but I just can't drink them.
I figure if I make it wrong, there's no one to blame but me. And most of the time, I make it just right.
