some of the questions asked on here are f*cking ridiculous? I understand that points are earned when you start a discussion, but COME ON! at least make the discussion worth reading! I don't know, I like good reading material while I'm going to the bathroom.

I do agree that some of the discussions are just crap, so I don't respond to them. I only respond to discussions that have some sort of reality to them. It's easier to give well written answers to well written questions. Great Post~!!!!!!!~

I understand why they named the unresponded to discussions "brain busters". Most of the unanswered questions were either illegible or really tough to answer... some were just lost in the shuffle. I agree that a lot of the discussions are only an attempt to earn money. I think myLot's intentions were probably to build a quality forum for people to discuss or debate more important things than "Do you like tea?". I'm sure they wanted to create a community atmosphere of people helping people and connecting through commonalities all across the globe. That's what drew me to this site anyway. Now, if only the bugs would get worked out so I could post! I'm going to give it another shot...here goes...

"I like good reading material while I'm going to the bathroom."thats funny. i agree that many of the posts are dumb, but that is how people work the system. when they abuse it, i negatively rate ridiculous posts, like "please say hi to me" or responses like "i don't know." thats unecessary.

I would have to totally agree with you. I have started a few that are a little lame, but I just started today. I am a regular on Gather. com and you get the same thing there. I do however try to respond and start discussions that are a little more in depth.

I guess you have to take into consideration that this site consist of different age levels, different backgrounds and so forth. Therefore, no discussion is stupid. Someone will respond. Just don't respond to the ones you think are below your level.
