Are you friends with your neighbors?

My relationships with the neighbors pretty much mirrors yours.

yes we are. we sometime talk when we have some tome and my kids banding is ok so i guess we are friends.

My husband and I make it our policy that we don't get too friendly with neighbours. We wave hi, chat over the fence about the weather but we keep it simple. Past experience has taught us that once you clash with a neighbour then home become hell. We just keep it simple and keep interactions to a minimum.

although we don't talk very much, i make friends with neighbors. i also know most of their names and we sometimes have drinking sessions...

I live on family owned land so I am kin to my close neighbors. But, I have lived away from here and found it best for me to know as little as possible about my neighbors in most places that I have lived. You know, it's kind of funny how it always seems that when you start getting to know people, a gossip chain will start about you. Be selective of who you talk to. This world is filled with people that seem to enjoy stabbing others in the back.

well, its not like we are best friends with our neighbors, but we do smile and greet them when we see them outside, and we are on a first name basis with them and we sometimes stop to chat for a few.

My neighbor is a friend i guess but hes the annoying type you wish would leave you alone. He is always being very nosey he thinks hes helping when in fact hes just being nosey and annoying. But he has good intentions.

I am friendly with some of my neighbors, but not the best of friends. My next door neighbor has 6 children, many the same ages as mine, so our children are best of friends. They often give me hand me downs for my children, and we chat now and then, but that's as far as it goes. The rest of my neighbors I pretty much don't have much to do with. We may say Hi if we see each other out, but that's about it.

I am friends with the neighbors who own their houses who have been here for a long time. However, some rented houses near me became occupied by low life people. The cops had to go next door about 15 times in the first two months that they were there. Always noise and bad language, seems that they can never keep their business inside their house. I will not befriend those people for sure, and I'm glad I still have at least a few neighbors who are good.
