I have tried a ton of survey sites that claim you can make money for free..but it always ended up with the same results. YOU must purchase a trial offer of something to get the money. How many of you tried these sites? I did come across one site that was actually the real thing. But, the catch is that you must know the couple of simple tricks or it will seem like every other one. If you're interested in those tricks I've learned send me a message. Are there any other sites that you have come across taht are the real thing? What are your experiences for survey sites?

There are survey sites that pay. Try to only sign up with the sites that say they will pay you in cash, check or paypal. There are also a few other companies who pay in gift certificates. I have been doing surveys for over a year now and found that you can find legit companies and most of them either have the BBB or TrustE logo or are members of marketing associations like CASRO, MRA etc. Before I sign up I always read up on their policies and faq's, see how they pay and what form they pay. I avoid the ones that put you in a drawing for a prize. Some that pay in cash(they send you a check) are: Global test market, acop, survey savvy, your 2 cents, nfo my survey, opinion outpost and survey spot. The following pay by gift cards, amazon gift cert. or a redemption for gifts: Mypoints, testspin, zoompanel, epoll. Some pay via pay pal: Lightspeed panel, esearch, and surveys.com. I prefer the paypal and cash payments but take the gift cards, like Target, Home Depot, Macy's and Amazon. All of above mentioned companies I had been paid by more that once and they are reliable. I am trying a few new ones out now but have not reached the payout. I do not like to recommend unless I have been paid by them. Many times you may start a survey they have sent you and 1-5 minutes into it you do not qualify. Most times you don't qualify within the first few questions, don't get discouraged they send more. A few of the companies give you points even for not qualifying like globaltest market and zoompanel. I think the trick is to sigh up with several companies. None of these companies make a claim to make you rich but they do compensate you for your time. One comment I want to make on one company and that is Survey Spot. They actually pay quite well it is just that in addition to the surveys they send for cash, they send out quite a few surveys for drawings as well. I try to always do the ones for cash but do a few of the drawing ones as well when I have the time, sometimes they have led to some pretty good paid ones. Make sure you do the research, it truly is worth your time in the long run. Good luck!

I've actually come across a few websites that are completely legit. I made 5 dollars in less than an hour on the first one, and plan to make much more!
On another website, it's a good way to earn money as well as a fun place to chat. The owner of the site communicates with the users through messaging or the forum almost every day.
Feel free to message me if you want me to go more in depth and want more information! And good luck with your current sites :)

never pay for a list of survey companies. Any legitimate website will never ask for any money related to surveys.

Oh, yes, I've have some good luck taking surveys. I usually use My Survey and Lightspeed and I've gotten paid from both of them several times. I also qualified for payment on Survey Spot, but haven't received it yet. I've heard a lot of good things about Survey Spot. And, I've taken plenty of surveys for Inbox Dollars, too, and gotten credit for them. I don't need to do any tricks, just wait until they have a survey and take them. Sometimes, I qualify, sometimes I don't. There's no magic to it and it's fairly easy. It's just that there are always surveys that everyone won't qualify for.
I've never once had to pay for an offer or anything else to get paid for a survey. The sites that make you do that aren't really survey sites, but are scams.

Nope, you might have to give them a Paypal address or a SSN#, but I can't remember about the latter.

With these sites, do you ever have to give any credit card info in order to get credited for the survey?

Pinecone research is the real thing. They reward you for every survey site and occasionally send you products to test. I made over $100 in barely three months with opinion outpost. You can find a review and link to join on my profile and website. You may have encountered those sites that claim to be survey site but are actually offer sites. A real legitimate market research company doesn't have any offers and you don't have to spend any money or sign up for any offers. I enjoy taking surveys and find they are a relatively easy way to earn a few extra bucks online.

I was with Pinecone for a while but was having trouble with the surveys because I have a Mac and was having trouble with the Internet Explorer. I emailed them about the problem and they took me off the list and said they would notify me later, I have not heard from them since. I have since gotten a new computer and have tried to re-sign up but no luck. They paid very well and wish I could get back with them. Will have to try again. Opinion outpost is good too. Lately I have not been qualifying but I definitely keep trying. It seems to go in cycles.

all the surveu sites ihave tried you either have to qualify for each survey before you can take one, or theu want you to sign up for free trials and i dont want to use my credit card for somethin like that. but if you know some that are for real i would really appreciate it if you could let me know.

most of the paid survey sites make you pay up front and then you earn so little money or they won't pay you that it ends up with you losing money instead. If any site actualy pays and is free up front do tell me so i can earn some money for real.

I tried, but I feel it will take a very long time to reach the amount of minimum payment. Just think if they pay you at 50$. And every month you just get one or two survey from them, then you earn about 5 to 20 dallors each month. The fast for you to reach 50$ is about three month, but if you just get 5$ from there, or there is no survey for you a month, what a long have you to wait for the money just 50$, it will take more three month to get these 50$. I feel I don't have this patient to get this.

I am with you. Instead of being called survey sites they ought to call them underhanded way to get your personal information. Every survey that I have filled out has asked for waaaayyyy to personal information -- your age, where you live, your income for goodness sakes! What kind of survey is that??? Instead they should be like actual surveys, i.e. "What brand of detergent you use" or "What TV show do you watch". I cannot ever recall actually getting paid from these surveys. I hate the ones that enter you into a contest to win money. Yea, right. What are your chances of winning money. To give up my personal information for a chance of 1 in a million to win money, my luck is not that good and it is not worth it to me.

I tried some of the online surveys. They are a joke! You have to try so many offers before they are even accepted. Some of the surveys that I tried, you are awarded points and you have a chance at say a $5,000 sweepstakes. I have not received any money for those that I have tried! A big waste of time!

I'm not fond of them. I used to sign up before, but they never gave me surveys to answer. I think most of them are U.S.-based and don't offer much to other countries.
