I'm getting money from Associated Content again!

I signed up there a year ago and wrote a few articles...but then wound up living here shortly thereafter and my computer time got limited. (and FIL shut off my computer while I was in the middle of writing a new article on several occasions because I dared get up to get a drink or some other equally "stupid" but quick trip).
I logged back in the other day though since I quit caring what they think about my time on the computer. I discovered I still had a pending/unconfirmed payment from a year ago...I confirmed it but doubted they pay after all this time. But that money got deposited today and I have two other articles submitted for review! I'm hoping to get one more article written today.
I love mylot of course but will definitely be writing for AC more often now just for the money aspect of it. You don't need to give links because I don't want to get in that gray area of a violation but I'd love to know who else writes for AC so we can join up and support each other over there.

YAY! I signed up there a while ago, about 2 weeks ago actually-- and I just submitted 4 things over the weekend. I'm waiting to see if they get approved. I hope they do!

I'm going to be putting the link on my profile page here. I figure that will be the easiest and safest way. I wanted to try one article a day but I keep drawing a blank on what to write about so I'm just waiting for 2 to be reviewed with the hope that I'll get more ideas soon.

I've recently started writing for Associated Content too and so far I'm pretty pleased with it. Right now they're still dealing with a backlog, but they're weeding through it.

LOL I did one on mylot too! Still waiting to see if they accept it though...it seemed good while I was writing it, but I always second guess myself. I'll be putting my link on my profile here so just check back, I'll get it there as soon as I get a chance.

They're still behind on getting things published, so I did mine for page views only and not for upfront payment. I hope to get a lot of page views with it, so losing out no the few bucks initially wouldn't be a big deal (if I was even offered any).

I have joined Associated Content, but have not got around to writing for it yet. But, I do plan to start on it soon.
Writing defintely is my hobby.

It isn't like here. You write an article, they review it within a week roughly, then make you an offer. If you accept the offer you'll get a confirmation within a couple days and they'll pay you for that article on the very next "pay day": which is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

I'll have to look for you as well! I was pretty surprised that they actually paid me for that one since it had been so long. I'm still not sure how I forgot to confirm it in the first place but oh well, I have the money now!

Since we're friends you can send me your link through a PM or just reply to this one. I'll bookmark you and add you to my favorites so we can help each other with page views. There are about 25 other people that I've found who write for AC that hang out on myLot too. sunnflr is trying to get all the AC writers on myLot to send their link to her so when we find another AC writer we can all link up together.

That's an excellent idea! Thanks for reminding me I could do that. It's weird, I got 100 more page views since yesterday and my new ones aren't even published yet. There system must bring members to the top of a list when they log back in or something. I have to figure out everything all over again, like adding people and promoting. It's been so long I don't remember any of it.

Yes it is writing articles. I wouldn't call it a blog really. I'm not sure the best way to explain it, you should just go check it out! I was there a short time a year ago and am just now getting back into it.

even i have got paid twice by associated content,though they deduct some amount before they transfer ur earnings to your paypal account.the more u write at AC,more chances of earning-at present my clout level is 5,i want to get it upto 7,so i can earn more.

Hello. I just started on AC myself this past month and I actually learned about this site by reading an article there. I submitted a bunch of short little humorous pieces just to see how it worked and it did. I only submitted one article for payment and I ended up getting 3.01 for it. I have since put on a few other humorous pieces just to have them out there. I couldn't give you a link even if I wanted to because I am not allowed to paste links here, but if you want to add me to the friends list, anyone who uses AC, I would be glad to check out your stuff and have you look at mine so we can all get a few more page views.
